  1. Atlanta won't let up. They haven't all season. They just keep scoring.
  2. So when does Chris Hogan take over this game?
  3. It's tough to know how good the Pats really were this season. And they definitely had a cake walk schedule in the playoffs, the one team that could have possibly challenged in the AFC was Oakland. And they lost Carr.
  4. YES!! I think Tom is going to cry...
  5. The calls are ticky-tacky.
  6. So sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. You and yours will be in my thoughts.
  7. Yea he was on the 53 all yea just not part of the 46 active for game day. If they tried to sneak him into the PS another team would have snatched him up.
  8. It'll be Whaley selling it to the new coaches, and it's the #3 spot. I can't imagine it's that much of a tough sell. He can say, "Take a look at him this year and make a decision next off season" at the very least. I don't think they would be pushing very hard for a different QB prospect for the #3 spot.
  9. They kept 3 QBs on the 53 last year and seeing as Whaley still has control of the 53, why would that change?
  10. I've been doing sous vide for a while now but haven't commented in the thread yet. Last night I went with a full shoulder of pork, made into pork steaks. This ones a bit more about the prep and post because the pork will just turn into pulled pork if it's cooked for that long. It's actually a 36 hour process. -First I lightly seasoned the pork with salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce and some thyme and rosemary. Kept the fat cap on it. Then wrapped it in plastic wrap, this helps it keep the form, then vacuum sealed it. Cooked the Pork for 24 hours. As soon as it was done it was straight to the refrigerator to cool for another 12 hours to "solidify". Once that's happened you can pulled it out and scrap all the drippings off and put into a pan for sauce and pull the fat cap off, which can go into the oven and make some nice crackling. The pork shoulder goes back into oven, it takes a bit longer to brown and reheat. Once that's done you can slice the pork into steaks and serve with the sauce. Absolutely delicious.
  11. I like how Mehta says he takes some of the blame. I didn't see him taking the blame for anything, in that article.
  12. Yea, wow. That's all that can be said.
  13. I'm sure he was lurking around, the Pats media session was right after the Falcons. Unless of course Bill doesn't allow him to leave the cave he locks him in.
  14. Art Spander on the Patriots* payroll? http://www.espn.co.uk/nfl/story/_/id/18589548/kyle-shanahan-briefly-loses-playbook-reporter-accidentally-takes-atlanta-falcons-oc-backpack
  15. I think'll that'll require a QB to grow a system around.
  16. And that's what the Pats** do, they replace guys and find guys for their system, which is why the term JAG, is thrown around. It's not meant as a slight to Hogan but in the Pats** system he literally is just another guy. They replaced Branch with Welker, replaced Welker with Edelman. Hogan, I think, will be Amedola's replacement seeing at the Pats** could save $6M by releasing him.
  17. And the Pittsburgh defensive gameplan was just horrible. They just don't have the players to man up and sitting in soft zones Brady will pick the defense apart.
  18. When will teams take that corner fade out of their playbook?
  19. Got it, so you don't understand. Obviously any QB could identify coverages and mismatches.
  20. Nothing. He didn't ask him to go make a play. Hell he didn't even ask him to beat multiple defenders. He asked him to run a simple route. On both TDs. It was designed to get him open. What does that tell me? They don't think Hogan can get open by himself but they can come up with some interesting concepts to get him open. EDIT: and on the first TD it wasn't that he asked Hogan to be "the guy", he made Cockrell make a decision on Hogan or Edelman. Cockrell chose the better receiver thinking he had safety help.
  21. Do you not understand what Tom Brady adds to an offense? How good he is pre and post snap? This isn't difficult. If you think Hogan on the Bills with opportunity AND Tyrod Taylor at QB AND having a run first offense (which he had 38 catches this year and had just about the same his both years in Buffalo) is equal to Hogan on the Patriots, I can't help you.
  22. Of course it's that too but that doesn't make Hogan some amazing WR that the Bills let slip away.
  23. His results are QB and scheme based. Not saying he can't do things well but his TDs thus far were results of play calls not Hogan beating his man or making a great move or catch.
  24. Hahaha Tom Brady's spin and fall over move whenever he sees pressure he can't escape.
