These are truly scary times. The level & frequency of violence people in this country use to express themselves is alarming.

I'm so glad you posted this. Thanks, Wicked. This is what's so great about being a Bills fan. One can put up pretty much any topic about the Bills, and fellow fans share stuff that's so much a part of their lives and their family. The Bills franchise/teams, are part of our family. Again, thanks Wicked, and Go Bills. Hindsight being 20 20, I wish I'd bought a bottle of Bourdoux or Cateauxneuf du Pape for Super Bowl 25, that way if they didn't win, the stuff would be getting better with age having to wait this long. Come on Bills!!

Update: My wife just looked it up, Mt Man will start a new series Thurs nights on June 18th.

You're braver than I!! Yesterday, when I came across that old Kelly Krunch choc., bar, the left side was a bit puffy while the right half still had it original shape. I think I'm going to donate it to a high school science teacher so they can study it under the microscope. On a bit of a side note, that's why I put quotes around Edible in my title of the post.

Amazingly, while I put up the Bills message over my AM coffee, I had Mt Man on to watch a little & her is this post. That's one coincidence, the other one is, those 2 guys are the favorites of me and my wife. But the whole series is pretty good. Their ability to problem-solve is off the charts! You don't chose to live a life like that & just knuckle under when you have a problem to solve. By the way, the History Ch is starting a new series June 22 called Forest Men? or Tree Men? or something like that. We'll see.

I was going through a box of stuff I've had for years and in it, I came across a Kelly Krunch chocolate bar I bought around the mid-90's, and an unopened Wheaties "Flutie Flakes" box from the late 90's. I immediately thought of that documentary of the Bills "come back" game w/ the Oilers and that Bills fan that still has his "rally chips" from that game. He claims he still eats a little piece of a chip for good luck with each Bills game since. Seriously?? Well, we're deep into the off-season, with the start of the new season still being three months away, lets kick this topic around & see what we get. I don't know if this has ever been on the board or not, but it could bring out some interesting stories. Care to share? And please, don't stretch the truth too much.

I'd like to wish all Bills fans a happy memorial day as we remember those who gave their all for you and I. If you'd like to share a military moment us, post away. Doesn't have to be about someone who died while serving, but anything related to serving our country. For me, I did 4 years in the Air Force right out of high school. That was many years ago. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I made. Have a good one Bills fans.

Regretable Jerseys

Wow. Talk about bad luck in picking jersies. Time for a closet clean out. Ed Wang!!! Talk about a premature purchase. The guy was like a ghost while with the Bills. -

Favorite moment as a Bills fan
RevWarRifleman replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The two AFL Championships in the 60's and the 51-3 win over "da Raidahs" for their first trip to the Super Bowl are all tied. -

Well 3rd and 12, as Paul McGuire would probably say, "I'll drink to that 3rd and 12. But you should really kick Marrone about 2 feet higher." -

Thanks 3rd and 12. You're doing the right things. This has been such an enjoyable topic. I wouldn't mind reading 40 more pages of people's stories. Enjoy the up-coming season. It',s gonna be good. -

Good for you 3rd and 12. Glad you're enjoying this. You get it! You truly get it and that makes me feel so good. It is important that younger fans know about this. Any fan of any team, has a way deeper & richer appreciation for their team when they know the goings on, be they good, bad, and in this case, the funny of their team's history. (That story about the season ticket group that paid for a seat for their keg of beer so they could enjoy it during the games, does it get any BETTER than that!!!?? That is so uniquely cool on so many levels. I don't think many fans of other teams can claim something like that. Its quintessential Bills fandom:) And yes, I'am an old fart, and proud of it. -

So did I. Wasn't at the game. Excellent Chaccof! Excellent, excellent, excellent. You nailed it on all counts. I envy your parents too for being at that game. -

"The Hit." You know what "the hit" was, as well as who delivered it, who received "the hit", what team it was against, and what game it was. And you're REALLY lucky if you were at that game & saw it live! Great topic GBID, thanks for putting it up. -

I've seen that video! It's an awesome story by McGuire. It was a place that offered all-you-can-eat lobster dainties & those guys eat dozens and dozens of them 'til there was no more. While they were doing that, according to McGuire, they washed the lobsters down with several pitchers of beer, topped off with every one of them (there were about 5 -6 Bills at this place) had butterscotch sundaes for desert! When they were through, the owner came over to them & told them to "get out and never come back"! I laughed my U know what off. And McGuire was the perfect guy to tell that story! To me, he seemed more like that real informed football fan that hangs out at your neighborhood bar, and is always willing to talk football with. Anyway, a great story. Thanks Juice for posting it!
