  1. The 18 game schedule is a mortal lock because of the TV rights. The NFL will get to add a 12.5% premium for amount of regular season games played plus escalators (yearly increases hedging against potential inflationary deflationary losses). Players make more money with more TV revenue as the cap rises, so what do they have to complain about but the % they get?? 0.
  2. Yeah, I hear you. How will his family survive on only $800 M versus a Billion? What is this world coming too.
  3. Hardy has fallen down the depth chart and could have a difficult time making the 53-man roster because he's had problems staying on the field. He did not play in the first two preseason games this year and had just one catch for 9 yards in two games last season while recovering from a knee injury he suffered late in his rookie year. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/article172408.ece Imo- The Bills cut him & realize the experiment is over.
  4. NEW YORK -- The average value for NFL teams has fallen for the first time since Forbes began keeping track in 1998. The magazine released its annual ranking of NFL team values Wednesday, and it found larger-market teams have weathered the rough economy far better than their smaller counterparts. Overall, the average value decreased 2 percent from last year to $1.022 billion. None of the top 12 franchises lost more than 3 percent of their value. The bottom six dropped by 5 percent to 16 percent. The Buffalo Bills, 28th in the Forbes rankings, fell by 12 percent, according to the magazine. The Bills were valued at $799 million. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/article172457.ece This does 2 things, it made the team more affordable to be purchased by a Jimbo led group and gave an outlook that the better the product on the field translates into more team worth. I feel this allows a upside to someone who can purchase the team and add a substantial return on investment (ROI). Go Bills!!
  5. It's not hard to sell a party to a huge group of alcoholics, like myself.
  6. Sports Inc. has released its annual ranking of the Top 200 players in the NFL. As Buffalo fans might have feared, the evaluations were not kind to the Bills. If you put much stock in the rankings -- and this is the judgment of a respected scouting operation -- it seems the Bills might have the least talented roster in the NFL. There was only one Bill on the list. Receiver Lee Evans finished in a tie for 133rd. No other team had only one player selected among the elite 200. Detroit and St. Louis had two players apiece. Seattle was the only other team without a player in the top 120, though the Seahawks had five players overall. The Cowboys, Ravens and Steelers led the way with 11 players each among the top 200. The Colts had 10 players, the Patriots and Vikings nine each. The Jets, Panthers, Saints and Bengals had eight apiece. More bad news for Bills fans: The Bills play half of their games against the 10 teams with the most players on the list. They play the Pats and Jets twice apiece, along with the Ravens, Steelers, Bengals and Vikings. The AFC North had 34 players on the list, the most of any division. That's the Bills' intraconference matchup this season. They play all the teams in the AFC North. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sully_on_sports/2010/08/lack-of-talent.html
  7. Yeah how's the secondary look for Miami?
  8. You call one of us out, you call all of us out.
  9. I think if his confidence is high, he can play at a high level. He seems like the type that if you sit him, he'll sit down and if you play him / he'll play.
  10. http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2010/aug/24/nfl-dolphins-counting-pair-2nd-year-cbs/ So, these guys secondary basically sucked last year and shouldn't be much better this year. We are literally on the opposite end of the scale as 2nd best, I think it's advantage Bills there.
  11. Yeah, I may have read it too quick to realize you were just asking if somebody had extra tickets you could take off them. There was no money value discussed so to say you weren't willing to pay was inaccurate. Sorry for the begging comment, real man looking for a real deal.
  12. They did me right and sold 4 home opener tickets for me last year within a few days of the game being played & I had 0 issues. They called me and had a buyer for all 4 at one time that wanted to pay a little less, so I took the deal. No issues with them from here.
  13. It seems I have reached my quota for positives in a day.
  14. Techmobowl was better, Jerry rice post play rocked. Unless of course you were playing SD.
  15. I think the whole business model is 1960 reincarnated, no other good way to describe it.
  16. Broadway motel has some good memories for me, stay there.
