  1. Spiller himself probably adds a few wins on and we are much better coached.
  2. Haynesworth stopped practicing early Tuesday at training camp and did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Shanahan gave varying explanations for Haynesworth's idleness each day. The coach initially said Haynesworth ''just was sick,'' then said the cause was dehydration, then finally said it was ''more of a headache than anything else.'' Haynesworth said he had something more, but he didn't specify what. ''You'll have to ask them, but I guess they'll tell you 'headaches' again,'' said Haynesworth, emphasizing the word by holding his fingers in the air to simulate quotation marks. ''It was part of it, but it wasn't all of it. They left out a whole lot of stuff.'' http://sports.mobile.msn.com/en-us/articles.aspx?aid=2726389&acid=2&afid=0
  3. I thought it was worth talking about but some people would rather chastise and fight, I think I'll leave it at that.
  4. Bell will be gone the instant the paperwork is filed, he needs to be on the roster.
  5. I for one do not visit the FP that often and found the story worth sharing, sorry if it offended you.
  6. “Stoop is a very solid, consistent football player,” said Gailey. “He can’t go in there and knock people off the ball and he can’t run down the field and run a 4.5, but he’s a good route runner, he’s an intelligent player. He fights every snap. He’s more than an adequate blocker. He’s done a good job so far. He’s been one of the pleasant surprises in camp.”

  8. It’s not easy for an undrafted free agent to stick on a 53-man NFL roster. Normally they lack the eye-popping measurables of draft choices, and often since the team’s investment in them financially is small they’re expendable. Those that manage to get themselves noticed on the practice field, however, do get the chance to hang around long enough to convince coaching staffs that they belong at the NFL level. Bills tight end Jonathan Stupar is one of those players. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3/Stupar-about-to-become-success-story/100f3c41-b475-4ea5-a031-48b34af28c94
  9. I always know who is going to win when I don't have money on it, LOL.
  10. The Bills stand eighth from the bottom in the 32-team league in terms of the overall value of the contracts of all the players on the current roster, according to league financial data obtained by The Buffalo News. The current contracts of all the Bills players add up to about $458 million, according to The News' analysis. The NFL average is $535 million. Minnesota is at the top at $728 million and Carolina is at the bottom at $353 million. The NFL average is $535 million. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/article169008.ece
  11. This is the best looking site, thank you so much for doing this.
  12. Do we have a Diva on the team? Someone like T.O. that constantly says things to get attention? Did the Saints last year? Did the Giants on their championship year? The Steelers have a Diva QB, who is now hiding in seclusion and fearing the limelight. Diva's have so much to live up to, they often don't make the call. Watch what happens with the Revis / Jets situation, you'll be surprised how even after getting his way, Revis isolated himself from his teammates. Being a Diva is only good if you really are the best, Farve makes it to true Diva status. He's about the only one besides Peyton Manning / Brady that can get there and make it stick. Brady is also coming unglued and it's more and more obvious.
  13. We have nobody like T.O. to isolate the other players and take all the microphones. Hard work and effort wins championships, Diva's do not. When was the last time that a Diva based team won a SB?
  14. If that doesn't show improvement, I don't know what does.
  15. In DJ based offense / formation, that play was a run 100% of the time.
  16. Well when we score on those 31 yard ones that raise the average, it makes it all worth it. You're also not weighing in the fact that the defense will bite on play action with him in there and they have to play up a little to account for him, which obviously opens up the long passing. Keep the P1 play in mind from last night when Trent passed to a wide open Evans, that looked like a run to the whole world and the play action got the whole first string D to bite.
  17. This will make keeping 5 RB that much easier.
  18. Yeah, with 3 starting O-linemen missing for us they were sure superior. Let's field all backups on the O-line and see how it goes. I made a post about that as well.
