Sorry brother, I just don't follow the logic behind your reasoning at all. I don't understand the idea that Troup is a wasted pick in this scenario nor do I understand how your legitimate concern about our 4-3 DEs relates to Darius performance as a DT in a 4 man front. I also don't see how opposing DEs would be afraid of our DEs either. Troup will be rotated in no matter what fronts we use and will come in handy in case of injuries which WILL happen, although I get how it's popular on this board to not have any talent in your second stringers because of our other NEEDS. God forbid we have good backups.

AJ Green would spell trouble for any receiver at the bottom of the depth chart. However, Lee appears to be a guy that could be gone at the end of the 2011 season one way or the other.

So that means we should not draft an elite WO because of our o-line? So does that include not getting QBs, TEs, or RBs until the o-line is better? Marcell would be a huge addition to this team.

You are incorrect about the Bills philosophy however, "you can never have to many corners" is the mantra of the entire league now thanks to the evolution into the spread offense. Jeff Fisher, Bill Parcells, and Rex Ryan have repeated this many times. I did not realize we were aspiring to be "decent". I bet you won't.

If we ran a 4 man front? Dude, did you watch the games last year? We used a 4 man front most of the time last year, and will continue to use multiple fronts. Outstanding points. If Dareus is off the board however, many will complain that we don't want to stop the run if we pick Green or Peterson.

I agree with this. Our receivers improved this year, but since I watch other NFL teams play I am aware that they are not great. Lee Evans is on cruise control unless it's a fly route, Roscoe is too small to survive a full season without some kind of injury, and Easley up to this point is still a huge question mark. AJ Green would be the best receiver out of a group that the fans think is "good enough" right now. I am still hopeful of course that we take Dareus. I just don't like any other d-lineman at #3 vs. getting a Green or Peterson. If we trade down we eliminate our chances of getting this type of elite talent.

You are the one I posed a question to because you made a very broad assumption. Don't respond as if my question to you was a statement of my opinion on the subject. I am asking if your opinion is founded upon reality or if it was simply an off the cuff personal opinion based on personal bias. If you still don't want to answer my question that's cool, but it is not a good habit to treat someone's question as a statement of their own opinion.

I guess you don't pick up on sarcasm very well. But it's cool, neither do I. I think that this proves how bad our drafting is. It proves that almost anyone can be a starter on a bad football team. Like I didn't already know that from watching this team sink in the last 10 years.

I fail to see how a decade of terrible drafting and coaching can't be fixed within a year.
