    How confident is this team? Enough to take a few games off. Remember the Giants first Superbowl victory over the Patriots they went 9-7. No one cares about those seven losses now. If we lose to the Patriots again I will worry. Losing to the Dolphins tells me we mailed it in by design.

    I thought fighting for the division title might have meant something. There are just too many games now. Wait until the Greedopolists get their 18th game. We'll see three and four game streaks where teams mail it in. Getting enough wins for the playoffs and keeping your best players healthy is what matters now.

    I knew we would have trouble getting up for the Dolphins after beating KC. Losing games like this and the Falcons likely means no home playoff games. If we lose to the Pats, then I'll panic but until then I think we can beat anybody.

    I'm glad I didn't watch this game. Playing up to the leagues best and lowering ourselves to its worst seems to be our mo. A two game division lead to the Pats may not be overcome. The league is watered down with too many meaningless games. A letdown like this is inevitable. I still believe but nothing less than a conference title will suffice
