The draft is fluid up to that day. Depending on where the Bills finish, a top 10 WR is a possibility. If there is not one available, CB or DE. They will need to draft: WR, CB, S, DE and DT. The offense is set except WR2 and C. The defense is in need of youth. Low level FAs will help too. -
8th late-game defensive meltdown this season

Teams know to keep it to one score and get the ball last. McD’s end of game philosophy is old. Can not give him up yards and put your team into a position to lose. He has to stop being cautious overall. His zero blitz is done in desperation. -

Joe Brady on the Allen/Davis Miscommunication

I take this as an honest assessment and taking accountability. Practice that play so that both QB and WR know if DB is taking inside or outside techniques which direction the throw should go. I will assume that it is done but reinforcing it will help. -
They did him a favor. Young is a bust.

McD has always been a risk adverse, cautious coach when the game is close in the waning minutes. It is his blind spot. Keep repeating this and hoping to get lucky. Trust the players to make plays. Giving up easy yardage is annoying. He is a good HC but has not learned about cautious play from the infamous 13 second fiasco. NFL rewards the brave and bold. Not letting the players off the hook for errors that left 13 points on the field but it happens too often for this team.

Just rewatched the game and that play should have been called dead because the ball bounced off the crown of reddick's helmet. This crew was brutal. Too many non calls on the Eagles secondary. Holding and PI were not called when obvious.
-
Rewatched the game. Slay got away with several PIs. The NFL officiating in other games were just as bad.

His record as a Bills head coach is second best in franchise history. No Dummy there. Blaming? Being factual. In an honest assessment you have to take the totality of the game into account. I called his having Allen kneel cowardice. Check the posts. McD is a risk adverse defensive minded HC. His flaw is that he plays soft giving easy catches for the opponents. I have not been of this philosophy during his tenure. He is who he is.

You too. God bless

Facts? Opinions are not facts. Everyone has a point of view.

Homer? I am far from it. I called for them to lose today. I know this is a team that is equal to their record. I am nearing the end of life. been a fan since 65 and your attitude is not warranted.
-
Two? The KC game was not for a trip to the Super Bowl. Could have and should have but the team lost games. I wish they get to one Super Bowl. I deal in respecting others. His hiring was not something I wanted.

McD will be given another year. The reason will be all the injuries. Many will not like it but that is what will happen.
-
I would continue to chat on this but calling him McDummy stops me cold. I actually not a fan of him or his defense. I look to be fair.

They shut down the WRs except Smith. Hurts extended drives with his legs. He is like Allen in that manner. They gave up the short stuff in the game tying drive. That is his philosophy which is maddening. Not a fan either. My point is that the mistakes earlier compounded to an inevitable defeat. I called this defeat early on when Cooks had the drop. This team leaves too many points on the field. The NE game a swing pass where the defender fell down led to a 35 yard run. That happens. Teams will take what you give as a defense. The Bills were not good, talent wise, in the secondary for the Bills in that game. You want to blame the coach for everything go for it. Fire McD and you will go back to the drawing board.
-
Only game will on the defense is the Denver game. Offense played putrid football in NE.
-
Every play. Players were put in position to make plays. They did not. Eagles are the best team in the NFL for a reason.
-
You stop. Look at the plays. Defense held the Eagles out of what was assumed FG range. The kicker nails a 59 yarder. Bass missed two. That is the game.
-
Wrong. Beane has the final say. You believe what you want.
-
Final say on the roster is on the GM.
-
So all the mistakes and errors by the players to put them in the dire end of game situation are forgiven? The passive defense philosophy was known when he was a DC. It is what it is. This game was a defeat torn from the jaws of victory.
-
Over 500 yards offense. Should have won this in a route. 13 points left on the field.
-
Did you watch the game? The drop by Cook that was a TD. Two missed kicks. Allen's INT. Those are not on the coach. That is on the players.
