Robert Quinn, any questions/
-
Man you gays...um guys are way to PC around here.

Two of ESPNs top 10 candidates (thus far) for ROY are native WNYers. Good to see some local boys getting props. WNY isnt exactly known for producing top tier football players, so to me its worth noting...too bad they werent playing for their hometown team!

3. Mike Williams
8. Rob Gronkowski
We could have, should have drafted Groni in the second which was one pick ahead of where those prick pats got him.
-
So should we stand up or sit down when it's time for a big play?
Man I always stand up when things are tight, I don't know how they sit down at all.
-
Yuck, I like the ones we have know and are the best we have ever had, nice strong and deep colors not those weak light ones.
-
With the right coach he can win (sorry Wade)
-
Yes because he is a sure thing. When he is done you can draft a #1 then. I told people at work that we should have gone after Brees even though we had Losman because Brees was proven starter and JP was not and we see how that turned out.

If Andrew Luck was in the NFL and had Fitz's current stats everyone would declare it was proof that he was a stud. But since it's a 7th round journeyman from Harvard everyone says he has to be replaced. It's the "expensive bottle of wine" theory. A $100 bottle of wine is always better than a $10 bottle, even if it isn't better.
PTR
I hear that.

I have been watching all the highlights of Mallett and Luck (since they are apparently the 2 QB's everyone is concentrating on). Mallett has a nice arm, throws a long ball, accurate, but mobility is questionable (except for the dash up the middle for a TD with a spread offense). I watched his conference and he seems intelligent but passionless. Luck has better mobility, accurate at times, but it seemed alot of balls were underthrown on occassion or his receivers would have scored more TD's if hit on stride (rather than reaching back or diving). His conferences were intelligent, personable and he seems to have more passion for the game than Mallett (in my opinion).
Any thoughts on Tebow. The guy has shown he can grasp an NFL offense, he is quick, rugged, appears to have improved his throwing mechanics (but I'm no QB coach)...but he has a BUTTLOAD of passion for the game and has a good head on his shoulders. Jim Kelly loved this kid and with Kyle Orton, Denver may want to deal.
What I see in Mallett and Luck is two very good quarterbacks, but are they "franchise" Peyton Manning type guys?? I don't believe so. It may be better to look for a young QB with NFL experience (if Kelly liked Tebow, so do I)
Hell yea!!! We should have drafted him in the first place. We should have traded back and got some extra picks That we could have used on high round OTs and OLBs. Could you imagine what Chan "I can make any QB awesome but Trent" could do with Tebow.

Torrell Troupp? (I have no idea if that's the right spelling or not) Either way, they have to go back to a 4-3 next year. Can Dwan Edwards play DE in a 4-3 though? Who the hell is gonna get sacks then? I could see them lining up Kelsay-Troupp-Williams-Edwards next year, keeping Johnson as a good depth guy and all of a sudden, you got a decent 4 man front. Who in the name of Christ almighty is gonna fill the OLB spots though? Maybe Moats is one of them, (they harp on building through the draft, I think they want to use their guys), but they better get a monster to fill the other spot. And they need to re-sign Posluszny immediately. No he's not a stud, but he's good enough if he's your second best linebacker. He would be right up there for the league lead in tackles if he didn't miss a couple games.
Troupe is 315, not a huge run plugger, hopefully we will draft Kendrick Ellis or Jerrell Powe.

Should have drafted Gronkowski.
-
Now if caught some of those passes today we would have won in a blow out.
-
After watching the Pats-Steelers game it is obvious that football needs a new helmet design. It is clear that the Helmet to helmet hit on Hines Ward was unintentional but yet still took him out of the game. There should be a high density foam layer on the outside so that the blows both given and received are not as devastating. As it stands know its like slamming to ball-peen hammers together but if you hit two soft faced hammers together there would still be a big impact but wouldn't be as severe. This would go a long way in protecting the players now and after they retire.

as long as every other team in the AFC East loses every game, and the Bills win all their remaining games, the Bills could win the East with an 8-8 record, and get a wild card playoff spot.
If we win the east we would could not be a wild card. In other news ...

Bring back the empire sports network!!! Those guys were awesome and Schopp was good then.
-
Congrats to Chan too...
However, this was his worst called game in the 2nd half...Could get nothing going on the repeated chances to put the game away....Defense continues to flounder against a bad Lions offense and gave up a 88 yard drive....Where is Spiller...It is amazing that a street FA Ganther got more carries then your top 10 pick.
did you listen to the game? Spiller was hurt 2nd quarter. Chan called a good game WRs kept dropping the ball. Chan was too pass happy in other games and realized we need to run to win did you hear that win which is what we did today. We kick some field goals and the touchdown isn't called back and we win big.
-
It seemed like most of the game when we had them 3rd and long we would drop 8 and they would convert they should have kept pressuring them as it was working but that would make sense.
-
No, but it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know that we have zero pass rush and it's killing us.
Rocket surgeon?

Best believe I'll come get ya

Touchdown chance, real thin
Get up off that field and
Just know I go hard
Guarantee we will win
Maybin talking: Yeah, we gonna win because when we step on this field they gotta knock us in between these sidelines for four quarters, and that ain't happenin'!

I doubt we lose to Detroit, but like so many other times, we need to find a way!
Detroit is pretty tough, they gave the Jets all they could handle and have some real close losses.
-
Love Kyle, Fitz, and Wood. Outside of Buffalo I like Peyton Hillis and Clay Matthews.
-
Ronnie was better but Steve was right there behind him.
Does anyone know what happened to our avatars?

Kellen Moore watch. Boise State tonight

I've seen enough of Boise that I can see why they are not ranked #1 and it's obvious they don't have the talent of top teams. Moore is the same, he has a noodle arm and just doesn't have the chops to be an NFL QB.
