    The point is he lied... and it sounds like others have... the Russian manipulation is a bigger issue... but not this one is about Sessions may have mispoke but his trip was paid out of one the campaigns during one of those meetings which makes his answer problematic for him. Otherwise this would be just noise and politics as usual.

    As an elected official that is fine to talk to Russians as long as not about campaign... he hemmed and hawed about that so jury is out on that score... problem is he was involved in campaign during the time of meeting a should have disclosed it and nature of meeting now that he is attny general. If still a Senator much ado about nothing. Separate branch of Govt.
