  1. I broke my fibula some years back and was good togo after 6 weeks. The ligament tear is the bothersome aspect!!

Not a surprise on ligament tear... Lots of stabilizing fan ligaments between Fibula and Tibia (the big leg bone)... depends which one, but think Jack Eichel and his high ankle sprain, same recovery time..., They can plate or use screws on the fibula, a non weight bearing bone on lateral (outside) side of leg and it should heal fine.
  2. JAKE TAPPER ON DONNA BRAZILE FORWARDING DEBATE QUESTION TO HILLARY: UNETHICAL, VERY TROUBLING, JOURNALISTICALLY HORRIFYING:

Its a very, very troubling look, I have tremendous regard for Donna Brazile. Shes a good person and a nice person and I like her a lot but whatever took place here and I know I had nothing to do with it and I know CNN, we were so closely guarding our documents they werent emailed around.

    .

My understanding is the email to Donna came from either Roland Martin or someone around Roland Martin.

Nice this come from the opposing machine to sexual bs Trump is facing... tis the silly season checked in for a sec... back to hockey football way too political more concerned about Jacks ankle then Hillary's email or Trump's fingering.

  3. It's a shame when it comes to that. I posted here all the time when PPP was new (anyone remember the dark days of Rivals?), but left because it became way to shrill - nobody discussed anything, there was lots of anger and name-calling (much more than there is now), and it just seemed pointless. After about a decade I began to lurk again, and saw that there were still a few familiar folks but a lot of new ones were here. Something else was new - people were actually discussing things instead of just bitching back & forth. It was much more interesting. People were taking the time to frame their opinions in a manner in which you could get yourself to actually think about what they were saying. Gone was the constant parade of butt hurt soreheads.

You still need to be able to back up what you say, and if you can't or won't, you still get skewered. If that happens, you deserve it. If you're smart, you'll reconsider your opinion, or better yet, go study up a little more on what you think you already know. I've been surprised several times upon learning that I was wrong about something, and I've tried to be honest enough to admit when that was the case. If someone can't handle the crucible, then they're not being honest with themselves. If they run away, or actually start to dislike other people because they can't handle having their beliefs or positions on issues criticized, then they won't ever learn a damn thing, and they're better off posting elsewhere.

    Amen brother...
  4. Once again, it would be an effective (if not brilliant) strategy to spin the whole thing back on Clinton. His problem is that while he's just smart enough to see this, he's not even close to being smart enough to execute it. I mean, how !@#$ing difficult is it to know that in this election, the correct response to all these allegations is to call them "bimbo eruptions?"

Literally all he has to do. Just say "bimbo eruptions." Boom...done. How big an idiot do you have to be to not see that?

And state Im not perfect. but switch back to issues he cares about. And keep doing it. Stop blaming the media it only encourages them.
  5. Trump on AP wire complaining about sex allegations part of Clinton smear campaign.... errr.... duh..... Poor didums little ego cant stand the heat get outta kitchen.

P.S. Heard he is pulling outta Virginia... so many bad sexual jokes there,... was that 10 year old's name? and worse.

This is GOP 1990s campaign tactics being used against them. LMAO

Talk about not being teady for prime time... he should have inoculated himself and prepared for it last spring talk about amateur hour.

  6. Westchester, I go to O'Connors in Mt Kisco... sports bar off 684 can cut thru to 84 and stay off 95 if you want just south of Katonah on your map.

Easiest way either way is GW bridge to westside highway North, to sawmill pkwy to cross county to sprain or hutchinson pkwy north. Sprain runs you back to sawmill but avoids a bunch of lights, hits mt kisco and 684 at katonah, Hutchinson turns into Merritt and 684.

  7. In the one training camp day I visited it seemed he dropped more than he caught in practice. Could be the issue.

Like I said, I will keep the closer scrutiny to myself from now on but in the interest of edification, I urge you to look at the Wallace TD again. Very little about that set resembles the 46.

I can agree with pretty much everything else here, though. Especially the idea of D Williams on Wallace. Before the snap, I commented that the wrong Williams was in the game. And I give credit to Flacco for good recognition. I think Rex even admitted he doubled the wrong guy, something he isn't able to do easily, which is one of my knocks against him.

Anyway, the D sucked no matter what we call it.

Clay seems to be open all the time and should be killing the middle seams. TT likes to ignore him for some reason. And Clay is an outstanding blocker as well. When I look at the tape, I don't see what your friend sees in Clay at all.

  8. MY 2 cents. Friend of mine who watched the Bills who knows Football better than me told me a big part of the deal is the Bills over value the talent they have. Clay hasnt lived up to expectation and really isnt that good. The Bills dont have a reliable 2nd and 3rd receiver. O line is a ? still. I was willing after the Jets to give Rex a chance. He just appears to be part of the problem... Shady as others have said is not an every down back and the draft has too many guys hurt. In retrospect this was a disaster waiting to happen. Rex reminds me of Sadaams PR guys stating "we are kicking the Americans as s, as they were entering Bagdad. Both are and were clueless. Time for a change:(
