    If there's no proof, why does Valarie Jarrett feel the need to come out and tweet an obvious, unabashed lie?

     

    Not defending Trump, but the Obama administration -- which ran on cutting back the surveillance state's powers -- abused that power more than any previous administration and was ruthless in its pursuit of leakers. So when Jarrett comes on Twitter, lying and hoping no one was paying attention for the past 16 years, it makes her and Obama look far shadier than anything the cheeto tweets.

    You asked me what he did wrong and I then told you. I occasionally pick on gator because he continuously makes the same mistakes. He's not only an idiot but he's too lazy to learn from those mistakes. Remember the $15 an hour times 40 hours =$600 a week x's 4 weeks to the month=$2400 x's 12 months = $28.800 a year debacle? Even after his error was explained to him he stuck by it.

    I've taken to calling it "Manicheanist politics." The belief that politics is an absolute struggle between good and evil.

    Interesting but that theory ignores the fallible man, instead all black and white. I think there is both, with a lot of people falling somewhere in the middle. Certain native americans believed human life on earth was a hell or form of purgatory. Struggle sounds too Dyanetics like cant buy that crap, ends up being toonarcissistic.

    Agree... truly disheartening... gone are the days where things could be adjusted to accomodate more than one point of view and every side be ok with it.

    You're absolutely incorrect. He did not lie.

     

    As an elected official that is fine to talk to Russians as long as not about campaign... he hemmed and hawed about that so jury is out on that score... problem is he was involved in campaign during the time of meeting a should have disclosed it and nature of meeting now that he is attny general. If still a Senator much ado about nothing. Separate branch of Govt.

    With respect, he wasn't answering questions from the FBI.

     

    He was answering questions from a senator.

     

    There's a rather large difference between those two scenarios and how each phrases its questions.

     

    Doubling down in the sense of his answer to Franken.

     

    True thought it was FBI according to AP short i saw..., if a Senator.., an issue but not the same level especially given his explanation.
