oh im very familiar with archive.org.... also nugs.net has/had a lot of free shows to DL.... ive got a couple external's full of live Dead/Phish shows...but the quest to have them ALL will never stop....I just like the 30 days of dead so I can listen to each daily tune and attempt the trivia....not to actually DL the free tune of the day

in Oregon's case id guess its because they score every 45 seconds, so they dont get much of a breather, so they play defense when they are tired....?

hey, stop calling me a 'patient', as if im not truly a patient haha....show me some respect....and its not an isolated flare up, this is the third such occasion in the past 8 months (when it initially started)....I do thank you for your general information though, it is much appreciated...if I ever get a flare up where I cant function (like the previous flare up - not the current one which is all but gone and was VERY mild) I will probably visit a doctor...guess ill actually have to get a primary care physician eh? Have great insurance, but have never gotten the chance to use it because I havent been to the doctor since I was 18....my wife swears by the insurance/docs though!

Duffs is great, Pearl St. downtown is also great (mentioned above).... Amherst Ale House in Amherst (duh) is also quite amazing, although even better for Sabres games because of the pizza and beer specials dont know about Niagara Falls, why the hell anyone would ever go there is beyond me.....

thanks for the advice and tips....I have great insurance but dont like doctors/taking medication one bit...I know how stupid that sounds and my beliefs are certainly in the minority and if I dont want to take the advice I will probably just have to deal with the bouts of gout... however, it is so debilitating that going to the doc to have them give me a prescription might just have to be done are all of those medications only avail with a script or can they be had OTC? also about the medication....do you take them daily or just with a flare up? .

why wouldnt Kevin Greene take a promotion to a DC job? I know its Buffalo and all and I understand that...but from all indications he is not being looked at for a HC job, so why not take a promotion from outside LB job to take the reigns of his own defense (the next step on his path if he desires to be a HC, or even if he just wants to be a DC then he gets his shot) - there is talent in place in Buffalo to work with, and if he is successful and turns around a defense that has been bottom of the league for a few years now, that just boosts his resume even higher... I understand "oh no its Buffalo"....but its still a promotion for him - so unless a better opp/team also was interested....I could see him going for it (Buffalo is very similar to Pittsburgh and Green bay, his two recent homes.....im talking city itself, not the organization haha) Liked Greene as a player, he seems to be doing a good job with Green Bays LBs (they are pretty dam talented however) - would love to see how it would work out....at the very least, I cant imagine he would coach like a pu$$y like Wanny

UPDATE: (not that anyone truly cares haha) went out and have more than my share of brews last night, no red meat (chicken sandy instead) and I woke up this morning and felt good enough to go to the gym and workout....so perhaps it was just a passing bout with gout this time? interesting stuff.... thanks all for your opinions

yea it hurts worse in the AM...does feel better throughout the day... the last time this happened I couldnt walk or really even touch it....this time (starting this morning) it isnt nearly as bad, I can walk on it but i notice it hurts and it is sensitive to the touch for sure...

and I offered the sincerest of my apologies for my sand in your vagina comment...but in my defense I was irked by the snarky "why make the mods job harder" comment that made me think you might have had an issue with that.....I was attempting to make a point that people should read threads before releasing their "breaking news"...perhaps you didnt like how I attempted to do so, but in that case, no response was needed if you want to be one, I wont disagree : )
