The NFC North is going to be very interesting once they start actually playing each other. I believe only the Pack and Vikings have squared off thus far which seems odd. -

I am saying going forward. Dion will be under the scope by the zebras even more.

Two things, (1) Dion clearly is just about guaranteeing himself a big penalty per game against the Jets, (2) I would not mess with Dion if I were a Jet, or in general.

I think Cooper allows Brady to run 12 personnel more often with much more flexibility.

I know this isn't a Cole-specific thread, but he is def not ready. He missed a big portion of camp, etc. It has to be very difficult to then get out in an NFL reg season game barely knowing where your locker is at an away game. Let's see how he is by the bye. Hamlin is seemingly a stopgap. Thankfully with Johnson back, it makes the backend more effective.

Cooper is going to get probably one more chance at a multi-year deal after this season, OR, he will be a mercenary by way of one-year deals. So there is very little risk here and possible two or three more years if things work well.

Everyone realizes he had a career high 1,250 yards LAST season, and has six 1100 yard seasons to his name in the NFL? Compensation is fine - you aren't just going to get him for a conditional 6th.

You don't think, at the time, his 5-yr $100M extension with $60 guaranteed had anything to do with the compensation the Browns gave back?
