Top needs as of now: 1) Def coordinator that is aggressive 2) Strong armed QB that can make 20+yrd passes and hit WRs in stride 3) A dominating LB that can blitz & cover TEs 4) a tall and fast WR with good hands that can out-battle DBs The first 2 are crucial & way overdue. We should start there and then see how we do.

Chan is overall an above average OC & bad HC. Fire Wanny & sit Fitz already!

If we loose this week & Wanny isn't fired and Fitz benched, then I'm all for cleaning house. 2013 rebuild - Polian as GM, Perry Fewell as HC, DeHaven ST, and any one of several for OC (Norv Turner, Nolan, etc......) Chan wouldn't be bad as an OC if there was someone to force his hand on issues such as picking a starting QB. Perry Fewell just might be excited about & know how to use the talent we now have on D.

We've done a 180 if you think about it. We had JP with an incredible arm but they say he counldn't read defenses. Now we have Fitz that can make all the reads/calls but can't make the throws. We need fresh blood with a strong arm - Gino Smith!

Step 1 - Fire Wanny. Step 2 - Bench Fitz the next time he's having a bad game because he is not getting any better on the field.

T-Jack is another Fitz. Same height, weight, arm strength and similar age. The difference is that T-Jack throws a tighter spiral which should help in bad weather. Romo is over rated & I would rather have a rookie with potential than him.

I totally disagree with JPL being soul-less like Trent. JP showed more passion than any QB we've had since Flutie. I predict Fitz will play well enough this week to keep his job a little longer however if/when the D bombs yet again, it should be enough to force Chan & Nix into finally pulling the plug on the Wanny disaster. I'm sure that once he's gone we'll get the real feedback from the players.

My problem with Chan is that he says that Fitz won't get any better by standing on the side lines - it's been 3 years & Fitz isn't getting any better. If it hasn't happened by now then it never will. Chan should have a plan B & realize when it's time to cut our loses and move on already.

Chan is really starting to disappoint. Fire Wanny & bench Fitz already. Both moves are overdue unless we are really making a play for Gino Smith.

With Wanny as DC we will give up another 35+ points and chalk up another L. I'll be getting my football fix this weekend watching college ball & dreaming of the day that we get a QB that can actually throw the ball over 15 yards with some accuracy. Fire Wanny already for Bills sake.

Totally agree that we have the talent on the field (for the most part- still need a better QB), it's the coaches that are killing us.

If Chan doesn't fire Dave W soon then Nix better be looking to get rid of both of them. If Nix can't get this done then Mr Wilson should replace the lot of them. Chan should aleady be on thin ice because of our QB debacle.

I like DC Toms idea but I would first & foremost fire Wanny then I would bench Fitz. Take things from there, at least the team sees that we aren't just going to keep pouring them the same cool aid each week.

Let's hire Perry Fewell as HC & then get Norv Turner for OC, we can keep DeHaven & then do what it takes to draft Gino Smith. There - problems solved.

Bring Bill Polian back as GM, hire Perry Fewell as Head Coach & Norv Turner as OC, keep DeHaven and then draft Gino Smith. I think that should turn this team around.

The more I think about Perry Fewell, the more I like it.

You could have the talent from the Probowl & we would get blown out with the schemes Wanny is running. Wanny makes George Edwards look Awesome. We need a good DC before we scrap any players on defense. Same goes for WRs. We can't really tell what we have until we actually get a QB that can get the ball to them. Step 1 - replace Wanny Step 2 - bench Fitz Draft Gino Smith.

Get an aggressive DC & get us a top flight QB.

I see it as that Mario has 2 choices: 1) say the truth in that the defensive coaches don't have a flipping clue or plan B, 2) make excuses. Looks like Mario is taking the higher road, of the 2.

Our D does have talent but when you have a dumb ass for a DC telling the players to do stupid things & they know it, they tend to throw their hands up. Until Wanny is gone - don't expect much from this D except for opponents racking up big scores.

I was thinking the same thing. Grab Gino, his coach & 1 of his WRs = instant fire power.

Has Buddy Nix or Chan ever gotten the QB position right? If I remember correctly Buddy is the one that traded Breeze away The way that Chans system takes 3 years to ramp up means that we should have taken a young franchise QB up front, not 3 years into the process for crying out loud!!!!!! This is just stupidity. If Chan keeps Wanny for the entire year & he keeps getting us blown out- than Chan needs to be replaced. From what I've seen so far, Wanny is a liability & the entire defense does not want to play for him. I've said it before & I still feel that we should have hired someone else as Head Coach & simply made Chan OC We can only pray to get a healthy Gino Smith.
