What can we learn from the Broncos?
CardinalScotts replied to covac23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Broncos don't make the playoffs in the Steelers division....or any other -
Have to respect the guy giving the opinion to care, he's a columnist they just want you to react - read it like him or not. I don't respect his opinion enough to read him

I just looked 2001-2005 Donahoe.....wow great drafts McGahee is still doing alright on his third team 4th 1000 yard season in 9 years Clements - had a good bounce back year for Bengals Haggan - still hanging around with Broncos Lee Evans- injured year about done with Ravens Kelsay- still with Bills obviously Greer as mentioned before that's 6 guys nobody really a difference maker his drafts were brutal look them up -

ya Greer 1 pick on the 24th ranked D that played 3 winning teams all year. As long as the O scores 50 that D can survive. -

Dont Be Surprised To See Stevie Sign With...
CardinalScotts replied to BuffaloWest's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not comparing what they have done, Stevie is an idiot and about himself. NOTHING to do with race - you went there I didn't. Vick's deal is a huge mistake - you don't think the Eagles would like to get out of that ? Being an idiot is not exclusive to black or white. I'm insulted not knowing anything about me you would call me a racist. The list of idiots in the NFL is too long to post here, what popped in my mind was the most recent mistake of a contract they wished the wouldn't have offered. That was Vick and was standing on the sideline watching why again??? -
Stevie Jackson OR Vincent Jackson?
CardinalScotts replied to DefenseWins's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope they sign Stevie Johnson and Vincent both, Vincent is exactly the type of wide out we are missing the ability to push other guys down the depth chart where they belong. -

Jets are a real possibility, Plax is going to be 35 next year and not a big time guy 45 rec. 600 yds far from 5 years ago. I think they would love to dump Holmes too, he's three years past his onemagical year. Stevie seems to have one goal to promote himself - that means good teams won't touch him. I don't think he'll find the 7.5 mill range and will be back with the Bills. Just a Michael Vick type warning - don't give an idiot money -
Bills won't Franchise Johnson
CardinalScotts replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brown is usually pretty much in touch with the Bills....It's a simple as Fitz said on WGR Chan told everyone about the next guy to draw a celebration penalty will be sitting. Johnson did - take a seat -
If Peyton Manning goes to the Jets...
CardinalScotts replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
probably the only thing stopping them- LT coming off the books might drop Holmes too -
Here is our pass rusher, and that is that.

Steelers will win the game but a rout?...check the scores bud they win on defense 7 on Ravens 20 on Colts 10 on Houston 17 on Jacksonville 20 on Ravens 13 on Chiefs 14 on Browns 3 on 49ers 14 on Browns thats 9 games of not too much offense if Denver can get a fumble return or int return as well as a kick or punt return they might pull it off but probably not

Oh brother Like who Flacco ?

official fitzpatrick "things to improve on list"
CardinalScotts replied to loserlovers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He needs some wide outs so he doesn't have to throw to guys named Donald Jones,Naaman Roosevelt, Ravell Martin, Brad Smith as a wide out, CJ Spiller as a wide out, Derek Hagan, Mike Caussin, Lee Smith, Roscoe Parish - holy crap get the guy some help. Who are we throwing deep to again ? The strained groin all year Stevie Johnson ? Brees and Brady aren't doing anything with this group either -
Trader Bill Polian and son available
CardinalScotts replied to BillsVet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Polian is a descent GM although 32 years with two hall of fame QB's and 1 super bowl is not good. His best move was the Bennett trade the draft did land some good late rounders but early round weren't too promising. try on these FIRST rounders Ronnie Harmon- Derrick Burroughs- JD Williams- Henry Jones- John Fina = none of these guys were first round material or these SECOND round plums Mark Traynowicz- Roland Mitchell- Carwell Gardner- John Parella = ahh no of course your gonna have your misses in round three Leonard Burton- David Bradon- Bernard Ford- Darryl Wren = ole Bernard Ford -
Do We Really Have That Many Holes
CardinalScotts replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OFFENSE: Nelson does not go into the good pile, when everyone is healthy he's okay. Broke the 60 yard barrier in games 1-2-3 then after guys were injured he broke it once in the last 13. He is a number 4 or 5 receiver who is good in the red zone. For the red zone reason we have to keep him, but his yards after catch is 90th and for a guy who can't get deep yards after catch is huge. Too often against other teams nickle or dime DB's who can't get open. Chandler is very much like Nelson only to tall for LB's. He's a descent enough player but look how good tight ends can dominate a game. Jones-Roosevelt-Brad Smith at WR-Ravelle Martin-and Mike Causssin- Lee Smith- these guys aren't even NFL players. DEFENSE: We have two linebackers on the entire roster in Barnett and Sheppard. The defensive line also has two players in Dareus and Williams, Dwan Edwards unless you have 10 other really good players is no factor. Byrd had a great year, Williams is going to be really good. I like what Rogers showed as well. With a pass rush Florence is a good DB without one he's not very good. Also I like the guy but George Wilson can not be the strong safety next year he's not good enough. -
One again putting the cart before the horses......maybe thats why your constantly disappointed, you don't let anything take the time to build. It's a solid move to an experienced defensive coach, getting our best players back on offense and defense and a weak schedule- things are looking upward - sorry
