  1. Another method, you could drop acid, stare up at the stars, and ponder the cosmos for 10 hours.
  2. I just dealt with another of Scooby's "humble" libs. This entitled kunt railed for 20 minutes over something any rational person would understand. Instead I got nonsensical gibberish that was intended to educate me on the flaws of my company's processes (not that I nor anyone I report to has dick **** to say about any of that, but morons take comfort in the belief that they're yelling at the corporation). Ultimately, all her rant illustrated was how ignorant she was of the issues and processes she was attempting to educate me on, and how unwilling she was to understand or apply any logic that may throw water on the fires of her retarded passions. It was just a reminder that liberals are inherently irrational, and according to their "thought" process (A)what you feel is all that matters and (B) any new info that would alter your feeling must be summarily dismissed without consideration.
  3. You're an idiot. The listed traits don't necessarily fall along party lines. But I've dealt with a lot of both & while many rich liberals are "humble" and decent people that is by no means the rule, nor is it more common to them. In fact, the most entitled people I've ever dealt with are rich liberals. The most entitled, least virtuous, & most full of idealistic hot air are often rich liberal women who married for money.
  4. You make for a good mole.
  5. Why do you hate black people?
  6. You're fukking with me, right? You gotta be. I pegged you in the second paragraph of my first post. If you can't accept that your problem with him is that he's conservative & making fun of the silly beliefs you hold dear, then I can only conclude that self-awareness isn't your strong suit. If you'd had any credibility to begin with you just spent all of it. Now I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you know next to nothing about a man you've volunteered to share insight on. Virtually everything you just said is either patently false or a gross misrepresentation of the truth. Nevertheless, I'm sure nothing could dissuade you from your certainty on this, or any other matter.
  7. The prime time speakers seemed pretty good, but the undercard was pretty sorry. Obviously the top of the card is the most important, but a lot of these speakers were just plain bad. I hope she's doing well. I have a little girl too & I can only imagine the hell you must have gone through.
  8. I'm sure they'll find a way to make it work. The same Politifact that called the factually accurate charges of gutting the 96 welfare work requirements a lie because some Republican governors like the flexibility will also find that his charge of reducing reliance on foreign oil, although due primarily to lack of consumption resulting from the economic downturn & stagnation, is nevertheless completely accurate because we did import less oil. I think that's a fairly accurate assessment.
  9. Dude, your analysis begins and ends with "Democrat Good". How can you honestly make this criticism of someone else.
  10. It's always hard for me to assess how these things will come off to the soft minds that are still impressionable but I think this was probably as well as he could have done given the situation.
  11. Now he's just lying through his teeth. Little girls were denied heart transplants not because hearts are scarce & there aren't enough to go around but because their insurance companies block them.
  12. I didn't catch Romney's speech so I can't speak to that, but his "policy" talk is illusory. Take for example his medicare & SS policy: Instead of voucher system he's going to reduce health care costs and take the responsible steps to ensure the survival of Medicare. That's not policy; that's just a more eloquent rendition of John Kerry's plan to have a plan.
  13. Sure he is, Sparky.
  14. Joe Scarborough is just another MSNBC tool.
  15. He's also protecting the coasts from drilling by paying Mexico & Brazil to do it.
  16. This guy better hope all the "independent fact checkers" are busy with something else this week.
  17. I had to change it. This has gone from being odd & bizarre to a snooze fest. My takeaway thus far is that they seem to be playing to conservative themes tonight.
  18. That's ironic. You don't realize it but what you really said is Republicans are unwilling to arbitrarily stop at the level of abstraction that makes your philosophy sensible. "Invest in people" is empty. There's no lack of funding or opportunity for education, nor is there any empirical evidence that suggests that's the problem holding people back. It's just an easy answer that seems plausible as long as your ignorant of the underlying forces & the details involved. All you're really advocating is adding another layer of separation between the people paying for this "investment" & those reaping the benefits. Half the kids catching a free ride at community colleges put little value in it & have even less appreciation for the opportunity. How about other people do what you did & invest in themselves? And how does any of this amount to growing the economy "from the middle class out".
  19. Yeah, but she's out of her element. Most of her anecdotes spoke to a conservative ideal of self-determination & overcoming odds. All she knows about politics is cliches & spoon-fed talking points.
  20. This is the most animated I've ever seen Kerry.
  21. You must be joking. It was an open question with no follow up at all. This week is direct examination (your witness) & last week was cross examination.
  22. This PBS panel is a joke. Last week they were grilling every Republican up there. They just interviewed Madeline Halfbright and didn't challenge her once.
  23. He woke up with a splitting headache, a sore dick, and a hand that smells like Vaseline.
  24. I agree that due to the size of his audience he is the biggest target. That primarily speaks to the frequency of his coverage rather than the nature of it though.
  25. I heard that once Clinton's TelePrompTer malfunctioned at the beginning of his speech so he had to wing it and delivered the whole thing off the cuff.
