  1. Sometimes I can't even hear my own dog whistle. Only now do I realize how deeply my inherent racism runs.
  2. Come on, man. That's annoying & obnoxious. I highly doubt anyone reads all that.
  3. What's good for the goose...
  4. This is quite possibly the most intellectually vacant meme to come out in years. It's like something Joe Spaghetti would say; it sounds clever as long as you don't think about it. Where is the logical connection? Entrepreneur: I risked my life's savings on my business. Welfare mom: Well I risked my life to be poor. I mean really, this is just embarrassing.
  5. So you're saying we shouldn't abolish the government. Point taken.
  6. Is Roosevelt no longer eligible for PS?
  7. Yeah, someone oughtta kick that guy in the nuts.
  8. Dude, what're you busting my balls for? I just read this for the first time. Apparently the Nickelodeon website links to his Twitter feed and a handful of parents were Twittering to Nickelodeon that they wanted Biggs pulled from his show that airs on their channel. I didn't make this up.
  9. Bad taste. I don't think anyone's insinuating that there will be any legal ramifications, just a potential PR shitstorm. I must say, from the write up I thought it was going to be a lot more offensive than the tweets turned out to be. And while I don't find them terribly offensive I'm sure plenty of parents will.
  10. Guilt by association. In all honesty I would expect this to blow over. It was pretty vulgar to be linked at Nickelodeon, and he really should have known better, but I didn't really find it so offensive that I feel any kind of outrage. He and his idiot wife should just keep quiet and hope it goes away.
  11. Did you really think the "Coasties" employed that many people? Wake up, man.
  12. What a dumbass. Someone should have told him that when you're a top-earning well established commodity with a loyal following you can pretty much say what you want and get work. But when your claim to fame is being part of an ensemble cast from a 90s movie (i.e. too much of a never-was to even be considered a has-been) clinging to your last chance at a decent revenue stream by doing TMNT vocals for Nickelodeon, you'd be advised to keep it classy. I somehow doubt that Jason Biggs has the intellectual capacity to provide any more insightful political analysis than what was evidenced in his tweets. His wife sounds like a winner too.
  13. Just follow the people in the white robes on Sunday morning.
  14. So you're saying it's impossible to have a government to protect property rights without also having a government that confiscates the wealth of the populace to redistribute it and colludes with those in power to insulate them from competition? That's your theory?
  15. I have no idea what you're trying to say here. You said a lot of right-wingers don't want women in leadership roles. I was pointing out that while some may, there are people at the fringes of all movements that have absurd ideas. I'm not sure what you didn't get about that.
  16. I can't view your link. What lie are you referring to?
  17. Now you're just playing the word game. You're equating two completely separate concepts by linking them both to a word that, if applied broadly, could apply to either.
  18. Well understood.
  19. I had actually considered voting for Obama, but after this I'm voting for Romney.
  20. And for every one of those ass holes I can find some whack job lefty who wants to put the white man in his place out of some sense of social justice. It's worth being aware of the fringe elements to keep them in check, but it's silly to pretend they're the mainstream or even close. Now you're denying the war on women? You're unbelievable. It's real, I know. My wife and daughter have fortified the den and bathroom and I can't even get behind enemy lines.
  21. Don't confuse creation with intervention. The difference between us is you support the interveners who seek to protect the corporations you demonize at the expense of the middle class and I support the removal of the intervention to allow the "little guy" to compete without having to jump over monumental hurdles put in his path by the government for the sake of protecting the politicians' cronies. I don't like it when Republicans do it either, but of late, Democrats are the biggest crony capitalists of them all.
  22. The point was, if you discount the external advantages the quarterbacks had and just look to team success as the indicator it seems almost a given that Montana ends up on top. However, when you consider that he was surrounded by talent on a team that still dominated and won a SB soon after his departure (Kind of like a guy whose team went 11-5 the year he was out) you realize that there are probably other guys who were better but had less fortunate circumstances. Edit: And Kent Graham isn't even in the conversation.
  23. I'm sure you can find all kinds in all parties if you look hard enough. The implication is that there is a significant and disproportionate Republican/conservative contingency that wants to keep bitches in their place, and it ain't so.
