  1. Somewhere Chef is thinking to himself "So you're saying there's a chance"
  2. I could be wrong, but I think another big fight on the card was scratched due to injuries as well. As far as Sonnen deserving the fight, that's not really the issue. He's put up better performances against Anderson Silva than anyone in the UFC. I'd say he's as deserving as any scratch replacement.
  3. http://msn.foxsports...er-shift-082312 The "toughest man in the world" pulled out of a fight for fear of taking a beating by Chael Sonnen. Jones might have the leverage on Dana White right now that he's the champion, but in a few years when his star is fading he may find, like TO is learning, that it's not smart to burn your bridges, because when your talent fades, you may not be worth the headache any more.
  4. DON'T YOU SAY THAT!!! DON'T YOU EVER F*CKIN SAY THAT!!! Colin Powell is a great man. A man of principle who NEVER strays from that principle unless it's convenient.
  5. His legs aren't the problem. It's his hands. Of course, I don't know how easy it is for a guy pushing 40 to correct that.
  6. How soon we forget the legendary Colin Powell
  7. I'm biased b/c I'm a TO fan, but it wouldn't upset me to see him in a Bills uni. Won't happen, but I'd dig it.
  8. That's pretty much where I am. I don't care for the guy ever since he and Cheryl Crow went on their "ban toilet paper and compost your ****" tour, but to be fair, if everyone else was doing it it hardly seems fair to discount his accomplishments.
  9. And I'd already gotten mine ready
  10. First Merriman, now this. I'm starting to hate pre-season.
  11. WHO'RE YOU CALLING PSYCHO?!?!?!
  12. What happened? Did Crayonz go the way of the Hypnotoad? I didn't get the memo.
  13. You should learn what this term means.
  14. This is a great example of Politifact unintentionally outing itself http://www.politifact.com/virginia/statements/2012/aug/13/bob-mcdonnell/bob-mcdonnell-says-obama-unwinding-welfare-work-re/ So in short, it's true that the waiver system does unwind the work requirements, but it's for a good cause (flexibility), the people granting the waivers could choose not to grant the waivers, Obama says it won't, and some Republicans want it; therefore it's false. Interesting how they breezed over the real question of accuracy which is the legality of these waivers under the law. Curiously we didn't need a fact check on that one. This **** might as well be put out by the Daily Kos.
  15. I rarely respond to you because you are either a blithering idiot, a blind zealot, or a troll, but I'm bored, so !@#$ it. What is your point? That it is somehow absurd or hypocritical for Paul supporters, who want small government, to support Mitt Romney, who supports a far bigger government than they prefer, when the alternative is Obama who, by his own admission wants even bigger government than Romney does? Is that really your point, or was there something not retarded you were getting at?
  16. In other news, today is National Dog Day. Or, as Obama calls it, Thanksgiving.
  17. That's the kind of argument DIN would make.
  18. A few years ago I was lifting & studied up on roids, & what I found is that there's no clear consensus on the damaging effects. From what I read, the general conclusion I got was that there is a safe & healthy way to do steroids & that the negatives are way overblown & usually a result of over-use &/or misuse.
  19. Never underestimate the power of boy-genius man love.
  20. From what I heard, he he did. Apparently they stole people's pets from time to time and fed them to the fight dogs for ***** & giggles. He's got about 100 million reasons to convince people he's changed.
  21. You guys just don't get the humor because you're usually the butt of the joke.
  22. Because unlike the mass of cells, no one's deciding whether to kill the woman.
  23. Where's the irony?
