On Elam’s ankle, from 10/21: https://bangedupbills.com/2023/10/21/afc-east-injury-preview-week-7-2/?amp=1#Buffalo-Bills CB Kaiir Elam (Ankle) Wednesday revealed that Elam aggravated an ankle injury from training camp that left him limited on Wednesday before practicing in full on Thursday and Friday. Looking back at my articles from August, there wasn’t any mention of injuries during in-game broadcasts or from the media that I can find. Elam had an ankle/foot injury last year that he injured against the Steelers in Week 5 before aggravating the injury several weeks later, jamming his ankle. It’s unknown if this is the same issue or a different complaint, but any injury that hinders Elam’s performance doesn’t help his development. He does not have a designation and will play on Sunday. -

For those trying to call BS on the Elam ankle, it’s been mentioned already this season. I listen to so much of the Bills talk radio I forget who it was, but it was someone like McD or Sal that has already mentioned he’s been battling through this. I thought they said since at least training camp. -
As long as my QB isn’t “detached”, we should be golden 🎃
-
I mean it will take a least two of them being hurt at the same time. Even Norman is ahead of him on the game day depth chart now. Seems at least the coaching staff has serious concerns about Elam’s ability to perform in this system still.

Sounds like he’s keeping his options open, from what I’ve read. BBB, Von, Josh, Stef and Bills Mafia all just gotta make the sale! He’s the missing piece between us and the long awaited Lombardi! https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/five-time-pro-bowler-ndamukong-suh-looking-to-sign-with-an-nfl-contender-and-hes-already-talked-to-one-team/ Milano said if we must amputate, amputate. Whatever gets me back playing as fast as possible.

Plus Suh will do just fine as a fill-in DT for us anyway.
-
We’re also getting a 5th back, and the guy is going to be a starting CB for us the rest of this season and probably through next season too. Word is Broncos wanted more for Surtain than Ramsey was traded for a few years back, which is more than what you are stating.

Def, leave it to our GM to know who these guys are more than you 😂😂😂

Chase Young to SF for third round pick

SF stacked on their D line… -
Jimmy G is so bad. Davante Adams should be begging to be traded.

Bills signing Fournette (for real this time)
strive_for_five_guy replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fournette is a lot more versatile than Harris. Been averaging over 60+ receptions that few years, versus Harris’ max of 18 in a season. Would not be surprised to see him in on 3rd downs a lot. -
Tackling is a rough sport for the Bills.
strive_for_five_guy replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Phillips tackling form is to bring the QB down via his face mask rather than even just falling on the guy. Yep. We already play nickel as our base defense. DaQuan is hurt. Bernard is way smaller than the much maligned Edmunds, although Bernard’s instincts probably make up for the size difference. And now we have Poyer lining up as WLB. -
So we now know Dorsey’s burner account on TBD too 🤔🧐

Suh next please! Although wouldn’t complain about finding some LB reinforcement too. -
Trade deadline needs what are your priorities
strive_for_five_guy replied to Xwnyer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Poyer. Now that he’s proven he can man up at Will LB, going to give him a shot at 1T next. He should be one of the quickest 1T’s in the league. -
The Next Four Leading Into the Bye

I guarantee you we don’t lose to the Cowboys in one of our next 4 games. My proof is that we don’t play them in our next 4 games. -
The Next Four Leading Into the Bye
strive_for_five_guy replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
We somehow win all 4, we should be right back in 1 seed conversations. Cincy game alone will be very telling on our outlook, and whether just making playoffs is a more realistic aspiration. -

If this game doesn’t bode well, I don’t know what will. We’ve got a few extra days to prepare and no new injuries. No excuses if we lose this one. -
Agree, given Levis lighting it up and Henry having a solid day too, they still have a shot to make a run down the stretch. Prob best for us that both Hopkins and Henry stay in the Titans’ hands, versus either going to one of our competitors or forcing us to spend picks on either to avoid that. If we’re going to make any moves, I’d like to see it on the defensive side of the ball, specifically geared towards shoring up the run defense.
