mob16151 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My favorite nickname I've read so far is "The Mammoth". -
Last time Bills drafted an OT in rounds 1, 2, 3, or 4?

He was taken in the 5th. -
I'd like to give Kedric Burney,Kai Forbath, Kris O'Dowd,Noel Devine,Terrance Tolliver, and Weslye Sanders a look. Side Note: is Daniel Aiken from UVA really a 6 foot 4 244 pound OFFENSIVE LINEMAN????

I can see where peole would see similarities between Maybin and Von. However Miller is much stronger than Maybin, has some counter moves, uses his hands well, and has had more than 1 good year at the college level.
-
Just switch Merriman with kelsay then lol.
-
Phil Taylor will go in the first, theres just too many teams that could use someone with his size, strength, and athletisism. Red flags or not. The Chiefs,Jets,Chargers,Seahawks, etc, etc.

I think Sheard from Pitt will be the pick in RD 2. I like Reed but feel that Wannstedt will push for Sheard, same position as Reed, just more familiarity.

Lets see here, Florence is a Free Agent and up and down at the best of times. Mcgee is older, slower, and seems to be getting more, and more banged up. McKelvin hasn't shown enough to start. And Youboty is also a Free Agent, and do you really want Corner on the field more than he is already? A CB will come off the board to the Bills in the first three rounds. Theres my bold prediction.

Just a little mock draft to kill some time. It's merry merry mob16151 draft. by mob16151 on Apr 14, 2011 7:46 AM PDT 7 comments Email PrintAdmin Edit Delete.Greetings fellow rumblers. I'm going to get into the mocking spirit and give you my Bills only mock. This is how I envision the 2011 Nfl draft breaking down for the Bills. So withoit further dudes. Rd 1. Patrick Peterson CB LSU. In my mind Patrick Peterson, and AJ Green are the two top prospects in this draft. I like Green, but the Bills WR corps is solid enough that I don't believe that Green will be pick there. I do think Peterson will be. He's got elite size, speed, and hands. He also provides a heir apparent to McGee, makes Florence expendable, and as a bonus he provides great value on Special Teams as well. Rd.2 Jabaal Sheard DE/OLB Pitt. A guy that Dave Wannstedt is very familiar with. He's versataile enough to play in the 4-3 or 3-4, and is a very good pass rusher. He has the talent to go in the late 1st rounnd, but there is that arrest on his record. Rd. 3 James Brewer OT Indiana. A massive Offensive lineman in the mold that Gailey and Nix seem to prefer. He would challenge Pears for the starting RT spot from Day 1. Rd 4.Kelvin Sheppard ILB LSU. This is the one pick that has been rumored for awhile. And I see the sense in it. He'd offer a nice long term option next to Poz in the middle. And would have a chance to learn behind Davis for awhile. Rd 4. Jordan Cameron TE USC. Much like Graham last year and Gates and Gonzalez before that, Cameron is a former Basketball player with a ton of upside. He needs a ton of work, but could be very very good down the road. Rd 5. Tyrod Taylor QB Va Tech. I know this is the pick that some Bills fans will hate. However I think Taylor is a very real possibility for the Bills. He lacks elite heigth, but has every other measurable you'd want in a QB. And he's a leader who never gives up. I'd be very happy to see Taylor in a Bills uniform next season. Rd 6. Owen Marecic FB/MLB Stanford. His pro position is probably FB, but I can see Gailey and company, happily adding a guy as well rounded as Marecic to the roster. After RD 6 it's kind of a crap shoot. I wouldn't be suprised to see the Bills make an effort to get back up in the draft and get a guy like Roy Helu in the 5th or 6th. If only to present a third type of running style to opposing defences. Anyhow comment away.

I've decided to do a series of articles on prospects who are being overlooked in the upcoming NFL draft. Today were going to start the first article with the QB position. Theres one QB who could go in the 4th or 5th round who for whatever reason isn't gettimg a lot of press. That QB is Idaho QB Nathan Enderle. Read more after the jump. Landed yet? Good. When first looking at Enderle don't be misled by the lack of stats. Lets look instead at the physical attributes, 6 foot 4 231 pounds. Lightning quick release(as quick as Gabberts IMO.) He has a huge arm, and the ability to keep a play alive with his feet. He comes from a pro style offense, and has played well behind a craptastic O line. He's also shown a willingness to take a hit to make a pass. On the downside he does like to lock onto a reciever, and he's a little to willing to put the ball into a tight space. Enderles Career stats YEAR CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT 2007 132 298 1787 44.3 6.00 58 10 18 23 93.66 2008 184 339 2077 54.3 6.13 81 20 17 33 115.18 2009 192 312 2906 61.5 9.31 73 22 9 20 157.27 2010 271 478 3314 56.7 6.93 76 22 16 39 123.43 Anyhow he's not really a guy I've seen a lot of,because honestly who watches Idaho football? But I've seen the name pop up, did some research, and well now I'm really really intrigued. Nathan Enderle vs La Tech

The Cleveland Browns have been given permission to interview Jauron for their vacant defensive coordinator position. http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/ From Rob Ryan to potentially Dick Jauron, talk about an epic downgrade.

I'd love to get Marcedes Lewis myself. But Kevin Boss would be a decent consolation prize.

OP's heard the suggestions. Now he needs to slap a poll on here. -
Kyle Williams .... this guy needs a nickname
mob16151 replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kyle Williams nickname is T-Rex. Why? 1. One of the knocks on Williams coming out of college was he had short arms. 2. T-Rexes are bad ass. 3. T-Rex doesn't want to be fed, T-Rex wants to hunt his prey. -
Don't sleep on a guy like Akeem Ayers if he declares.

Question for hardcore college football fans
mob16151 replied to ....lybob's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Meh right now they are. But someone will slide. Someone always does. -
I can't really disagree with your list. And what amazes me is how much Payton did with average athletic talent but extraordinary vision, and balance. He wasn't the most talented RB, but he understood the position like no one else.

Right now I have them 1.Dareus 2.Bowers 3.Clayborne 4.Fairley 5.Heyward Cue vehement disagreement. -
I said Sayers earlier and I still believe it, but Dickerson in his prime was possibly the most dominant RB I ever saw.And he has to be in the conversation.
