  1. I agree, though i still call the NT the LT of defense, 3-4 defenses are only good when you have those pass rushers making an impact that the NT is opening for them. Those OLB are the second most important aspect, due to the fact they not only need to be strong enough to get to the QB, but skilled enough in pass protection as well (see Green Bay's Arron Kampman - sack master that was HORRID when moved to OLB) lets face it, the Bills will improve greatly with any pick that is a LT, QB, or Pass rusher. and please, stop saying you want Spiller, he's great but you already have two great backs, I'd love for Green Bay to have two backs as talented as Lynch and Jackson.
  2. Draft a QB! that way one of the OT's drop to GB or take our 23rd + our 3rd rounder for your first and we'll draft a LT!
  3. I was just going to say that. the NT is the LT of the defense. Nothing much else to say that hasn't been already said.
  4. Did Mcnabb want to play for a rival, or did the management just send him? Everything i heard, pointed out he just let things happen, not stating anything, wouldn't even comment to the press. Favre pulled a Dbag move by WANTING to play for a Rival to "stick" it to the Packer administration, while Mcnabb seemed to just "go with the flow". Much respect for McNabb for putting up with what he has, and i agree, I hope he does well in Washington.
  5. http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?compet...mericanfootball this link allows u to do live streams... You have to download a client (its free and safe) i suggest Streamtorrent. I use it for all my Packers games here in NY.
  6. Thoe Green Bay Packers found a solid Franchise QB with the 24th overall pick in 05...
  7. also, he said de in a 3-4. most DE's excel in 4-3 (Bruce, Reggie white, etc)
  8. Wives come and go, Footballs forever!
  9. Team's desire for Vick and Brohm is an unfair comparisson. Vick had played as a starter, and had proven his worth. Brohm hasn't gotten the chance. Rogers is a top 5 QB, and Flynn caught on faster. Teams aren't gonna "move earth" for a QB they havn't seen in action. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have potential.
  10. I want to see Brohm do good. As a Packer fan I hated to see him go, and couldn't comprehend the moving him to PS in the first place. But later it was stated we were focused on our (read Horrid) special teams. I agree with the earlier comment saying no team took Brohm, not because they thought he wasn't good, but that they weren't in the market. Which teams needed a QB? Lions? They happy with Stafford. Jets? See Sanchez. Living in Buffalo, i was excited to see him come in, noting he may have a shot at the starting position in the 2010 season. I hate Trent, and woulda liked to see Fitz do better than he did, but to give up on Brohm so early before one complete offseason is ludicrous.
  11. Kampy is the ****. Its too bad we couldn't use him in the 3-4 effectively, but I would love to see him go to B-lo and make some plays. I just wish we traded him last season before the the deadline so we could get something for him at 100%
  12. Building through the Draft, putting money into your current roster rather than FA, possibly switching to the 3-4... Sounds like the Packers for the last 4 years. Just be prepared for a long ride. Though it is effective if done correctly, it takes a couple seasons to complete, and thats if you make good decisions in the draft. Luckily it seems these next two drafts will be loaded with talent. I like the idea, and am happy with Nix. But its de javu all over again
  13. Third String QB in Green Bay isn't such a bad resume. I'd LOVE to see this kid rock Buffalo, i guess we'll see Sunday
  14. I'd trade Ryan Grant for Lynch or Jackson anyday
  15. haha, Don't judge me! make sure to wear a Bills jersey! I went to the Buffalo vs Browns game (bad decision) wearing my Packers jersey (Great Decision) and got in some ball busting taunt fights with everyone! nobody knows what to say, especially when that week was my bye week
  16. Miami and Jets losing out is highly likely. they both play 3 very tough teams. The only game that will make this possible is Buffalo vs New England. If Buffalo can beat New England than i can see them beating Atlanta, who is primarily a passing offense, and your defensive strength is your pass defense. Indy will probably rest their starters so that should be winnable too. New England seems to be collapsing lately, and with this "moss" drama, who knows? But if they lose to Buffalo, then The jags and Texans should be able to beat them as well. Unfortunately, if the stars aligned and buff did make it to the playoffs, you'd prob only make it to the first round
  17. In my opinion, it seems like most of Byrd's interceptions are him playing over top and the ball being tipped or dropped into his hands. Not saying he's not a beast, but i dont think he over bates the QB
  18. Brohm did make the Packers team 2 years in a row. Brohm was actually put on the Practice squad once out Defense took some beating and needed to make room for roster spots. With Rodgers and Flynn already on the roster, QB was a position where our depth was of least importance.
  19. Every franchise goes crap for a couple years, you havn't seen Detroit move have you? How about the Raiders? Rams? Buccs? These teams dont get any coverage either, and the Bills are a better team than all of them. Bills have a better record, harder division, and way more fan support. Trust me, the Bills aren't going anywhere. Edit: Hell, even the Jags who are playoff contenders at this point don't get mentioned. ESPN is horrible at delivering equal coverage to the teams, and only really covers the same teams that did well the previous season and are sure ins for post season this year. (Ravens, Falcons, Vikings, Colts, Giants, Patriots, Cards, Ect... )
  20. Zimmer wouldn't be bad, Bills have some strong talent on D (Byrd been doin amazing), and could use some good coaching to solidify it to balance out your offense. I believe the more important issue is your offensive playcalling though. With Owens, Evans, and Lynch/Jackson your offense should be explosive, but the playcalling does not utilize your weapons to their best advantage.
  21. actually I live near Buffalo, so I'm also a Bills fan. I've always been a Packers fan for life, but once i started going to school near Buffalo, the Bills grew on me.
