i love having fitz as our quarterback. seems he is capable of making some very good (and bad) plays on the field. the coaches and his teammates believe in him and he is a great guy. and with the additions to the o line and the return of freddy, re-signing of stevie, and the emergance of cj and chandler (and hopefully a couple more this year, he doesn't have to do it all on his own. football is a team sport but i am very confident of him being the leader of this team.

that sounds pretty great. i'm a bit tecnologically challenged though. and i just listen to the radio while at work when it comes in.

they could do 3 hours on the lunch menu and bathroom breaks, whatever gets jim rome off the air. that guy is just way too full of himself.

i'm of the opinion that buddy is just being buddy. a guy that speaks his mind and is letting us know that the organization is expecting more out of these players than they have shown so far. i also believe that by saying that they expect more, that they believe these players have much more to give.

i just really wish it was a three hour show from noon to three pm.

the article did make mention of a non football related injury that held him out of all the ota's and minicamp. so missing out on valueable info and time with the new defensive coachand his new defensive scheme, as well as injuring himself in a non football capacity kinda put him way behind the 8 ball to begin.

without having listened to the podcast and just simply answering the topic question, an improved d-line in theory should make the offense as a whole uncomfortable, which in turn should lead to more mistakes/big plays.

agreed. i just really want to believe there was something very wrong with the team and it wasn't just bad attitude. i always liked rueben, even though he did make me yell at my tv a lot.

hopefully this kid brings what we are all hoping for, a tough sob that brings the lumber without drawing the flag. seems most people are really pulling for him, count me among them.

i think that we will find out a lot more between now and the start of the season. we still have to go through camp and preseason, and i am more interested to see how many and who they keep as opposed to who the two guys are that get announced before game time.

i think that there may have been some things going on behind the scenes back then, i doubt mr. brown just woke up one morning with a bad attitude and said "screw this".

if there are some diamonds out there they better take this opportunity to shine really bright really fast, for it seems the talent level of this team is a lot higher than in years past.

i think the statement the bills are looking to make is that there is a new sheriff in town. they'd best be bringing their proverbial a-games against all the divisional opponants, and particularly the hated patsies. that's where it all begins, whoop @$$ in your own division and let the rest of the league take notice.

i always loved daryl talley on the field, guy was just steady as a rock. never really heard about him doing stupid stuff off the field either. i just keep thinking that we need to find a player like him for our defense now, someone with the passion for the game and the ability to bring the whole defense together. damn he was great.

i am really hoping that he is truly healthy now. if he has a role to play it is certainly more than just pass rush specialist. we've seen shawne merriman the cheerleader and recruiter, now i'm ready to see shawne merriman the emotional leader.

all you have to do is look at last season when the team was healthy. get those guys back, look at the additions, add in a full off season and go kick the sh!! out of new england and take their crown. no need to win 8-9 games. just win the whole freakin' thing.

hopefully this guy will be making lots of people on the other team hear footsteps, lots and lots of big, @$$ kicking footsteps!

i think another element being overlooked is the overall team character. this combined with the new infusion of overall talent could be the element that takes the team over the top. because it seems to me that there are some real beasts on this team that are hungry for a championship that are being told by all the experts that there is no way in hell. and i think they will bring that with them every sunday.

i love having nick barnett on this team. he seems to have exactly the right type of attitude and leadership ability you want from your veterans. i imagine he will be helping all the younger guys get better around him, and that is a wonderful thing. oh yeah, and the guy is a hell of a linebacker too!
