  1. I noticed chan designed a number of plays this last week that had cj and Freddie on the field together. And a few of them where Fred Jackson was the lead blocker. All cj had to do was follow Freddie through the hole. I think chan will be very creative again this week to get both these guys on the field for immediate Mis matches. I know I'm really looking forward to seeing the game plan for this week. San Diego showed the pats* are beatable as long as we don't turn the ball over, I optimistically see this as a close game that can go either way.
  2. What a great feeling after a great win. There were a few things today that I picked up on that I haven't seen talked about. If it was then delete this. 1. Fundamentals. This really stood out to me. ESPECIALLY open field tackling. There were Alot of screen passes and short dump offs that were immediately tackled. It always seemed the last few years that this was not the case. This in my opinion was a HUGE accomplishment. Also, discipline. They played in arrowhead and I counted 1 false start on urbik and 1 offsides on dareus. That is a great accomplishment as well. Even with the chiefs crowd almost immediately silenced with the opening fumble. 2. TE play I really hope this is just a glimpse of more to come. It was great to see a recieving TE again 3. Fred Jackson Enough said. Great heart. There is a few more but my wife is rushing me out the door for dinner. All in all great showing. Love seeing optimism around here again. Go bills...
  3. Hahaha loved them showing the shot of the parking lot in KC, stands are empty. The football gods showed us some love today That was the first game that came to my mind. I can't seem to remember another one since then.
  4. Anybody remember the last game we completely dominated like this? I know it's been awhile
  5. Damn it feels good to be on this side of a blow out
  6. Wow so this is what it feels like to have a decent TE. I like it
  7. That's fine by me as long as we get the W. Let us stay under the radar as long as possible
  8. Has anyone heard any updates on merriman? Maybe I missed it.

  11. Like Milloy? I'll never forget that 31-0 ass whooping we gave the pats* after they cut him and we snatched him up. Too bad that game was also the last time we beat them...damn
  12. When I saw the game last night I seem to remember the bills announcers mentioning that they had the option on where they wanted to kick it from? I thought it was weird but I took their word for it. All the more reason tasker should hang up the mic and maybe help out our special teams unit this year instead? Lol just sayin...
  13. Whether or not that was suppose to be funny, I laughed my ass off
  14. Isn't this the type of thing that pretty much got Childress fired by the Vikings last year??

  16. the perfect drink to watch a bills game, pepto bismol and vodka
  17. Dirty Heads "Lay Me Down" has been getting alot of play in my car lately, Anything off of Jack Johnson's albums is perfect for relaxing, especially if kids are around you dont have to worry about a random "f-bomb" Matt Costa "Astair" Matt Nathanson " Car Crash" or "Come on get Higher" Pepper is another great sublime like band from hawaii, and is always a good summertime mix those are the few that come to mind first for me
  18. In my opinion, i would rather have a player on this team that wasnt so much a "face" but a leader. i think of talley, somebody that is going to tell maybin to get his ass back in the huddle and do it again a couple dozen times before he goes out and celebrates like he just won the superbowl with that one hit. Someone that will fire up the guys on the sidelines in a close game, and just plain and simple, a leader. i know russ would love to have that face, but i think nix is going to be looking for the darryl talley type, or atleast i hope so...
  19. i dont care if buddy nix would of come out today and said gomer freakin pyle was our new head coach, i would still be a diehard bills fan. go red white and blue, god bless america, god bless the bills, we will need it
  20. I really cant blame you for feeling this way. another poster beat me to it by saying that you are appreciated here. but like the saying goes you dont know what you've got till its gone. i thought that it was awesome that you gave the chance for us bills fans to submit questions for the press confrence, and i was truly upset when i saw all of the BS that followed. there arent a whole lot of opportunities like that that present themselves, but i know that myself, and many other loyal bills fans come on here everyday for information, and you really are a diamond in the rough on this board. thank you for all the time that you do spend on here, and i do hope that this isnt the last post that we see from you. </kissass>
  21. When i first heard the news about gailey most likely being our new head coach, i was pretty upset. i was just starting to warm up to the idea of frazier and out of the blue here comes a guy that we all heard about getting fired at the same time turk was getting fired. However, after looking a little more into his career, all i can say is i have no problem giving this guy a chance. in every year that he has been a head coach, whether it be pro or college, he has only had a losing season ONE time, and that being in 1993 with samford university bulldogs (div 1-aa) i do have concerns with his inability to win bowl games, or playoff games, but the fact is i would walk around with a stiffy for a week if we could just get IN to the playoffs at this point. i cant believe all of these people so ready to walk away from this team over this choice. no its not a big name like cowher, but beggers cant really be choosers. lets try to get some pride back into this orginization, and gailey has proven then he can lead a team to a winning record, and to the playoffs. baby steps people, were any of you really expecting to go win the superbowl next year even if cowher, or shanny would of came? Go Bills!!!
  22. i wouldnt get your hopes up of signing any 3-4 free agents if in fact L.F. does get the job seeing as how he prefers the tampa 2 defense http://min.scout.com/a.z?s=63&p=2&...2%2f648810.html
  23. there are also plenty of "middle aged" to just plain old posters on here that dont know much either. just because the younger posters didnt have to walk to and from school in the snow with no shoes on, uphill both ways with jesus christ himself doesnt mean they are any less of a bills fan then you. I am 25, been a bills fan since i can remember, and take pride in that even though the team hasnt given any of us any reason to be proud as of late, i live and die bills football. i guess everyone has to express their frustrations with a mediocre team in different ways, and yours just happens to be bashing other loyal fans who take time out of their day to express what they have heard, seen, or felt. I truly do feel sorry for you sir.
  24. this coming from a guy whos name is "depressed bills fan" maybe you should take your own advice???
  25. i lived in las vegas untill just last year. I have never been to any sports book that didnt give you at least 1 drink ticket for every bet you place. sometimes the guy working the counter might "forget" but all you have to do is ask. and it is vegas, so tips do go along way just dont be afraid to ask for a couple more. as far as the best ones it kinda depends what kind of atmosphere you are looking for. i always prefered the casinos off the strip. i really enjoyed the red rock sports book, but this can be costly to get to if your taking a taxi or something. if you do want to stay by the strip most of the sports books are about the same, mgm has a really nice one, however if your looking for a fun time try going up to downtown, everything is cheaper (beers, table game min bets etc...) the atmosphere is great, and you get to experience the "old las vegas" hope this helps
