Basing any kind of analysis on what the Chinese release is just plain a waste of time...Look at Italy. My take....It is inevitable that like DT said....CV is going to "wash through" our country. Ultimately there will be hundreds of thousands...if not millions of casualties (pending a vaccine). No amount of economic help from the Feds can replace the loss of economic activity that is going to be incurred in a quarantine/shutdown. Think about this: A restaurant is in a plaza...shuts down - employees out of work. Restaurant has credit line with bank and a lease with a developer. Developer out of rent can't make payments might default on mortgage, restaurant out of credit line conditions with bank. Employees can't pay bills with a $1,000 check. Multiply by millions. This is the reality that we are looking at - and if you get a hold of leaked meetings and reports.....they know it What I think is going to happen? A policy of low risk people get on with their lives and the high risk try to stay out of harms way. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of casualties and not much to stop it....and that is the choice that is going to be made.

I don't believe anything the Chinese Government says - I have been there on business - I will never go back...they are awful people in an awful country I think you look at Italy and other western nations for data.....wait'll this hits India AFA the Chinese "cooking" this up....DNA science types have confirmed this originated from bat borne viruses...so I will put my trust into them....you know....scientists as opposed to DTJ.... AFA a year...My view is our late start and social distancing efforts are so porous that we have unwittingly stepped entered the all in + right now strategy....I don't think anyone knows how persistent things will be a year out...I have 3 set of parents between my wife and I - they are all in their 80's - l think I will be lucky if they are unaffected...I think odds are, one of them will be taken out from this are likely.

Oh - its going to be worse than that before this is over.... I consult for banks.....they have NO IDEA on what is to come ....We work on an economy totally based on leverage....everything is leveraged to the max...great when the weather is sunny...This is way different and much harder in many ways to deal with than 2008....back then we had slices of the economy that were doing poorly and others that were in recession....but they were for the most part actually running....Now we have entire sections of the economy with no income streams....no one has an answer for that.... Fortunately....The White House financial team has taken advantage of the recent good times and have put the Federal Balance Sheet in good order to have enough ammunition to deal the news on hand....

Not hard to predict that what DT does would end up in a mess....seeing as EVERYTHING he has done for 30 years has left his stakeholders holding the bag while he skates...how does it feel stakeholder? I said 21k I have not put anything in equities since DT got elected.....I figured he would do nothing of substance, drive up the debt and ultimately the market would crash....for Bush...it was massive over leverage in the housing market...for DT - its the CV.... He and Mitch have done nothing of substance other than juice the market....come November even you knuckleheads will have nothing to hold on to....and we will be on to a better place...
