I would be happy with any of the four listed. I would prefer Miller or Dareus. I have nothing against Green or Peterson but you can find quality WR's in later rounds and I'm tired of seeing us use 1st round picks on DB's.
Pretty much. If Miller or Dareus are available, they needed to be the pick.

Best line:
I always get nervous when the experts say a cornerback is “the total package, except for his one-on-one coverage ability.” What does that mean?
He's good at running around when the ball is thrown???

I don't like white helmets.

Now we just need some studs to fill into those fine lookin uniforms.

Didn't see it posted anywhere but just saw this on wgr.
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall has been stabbed. The Dolphins' star was rushed to the hospital and is currently in intensive care.
At this point, details are limited, but Schefter reports Marshall was stabbed by a woman.

The really funny part is how this guy must be so high on Newton and there is another writers report of buffaloes best, worst and realistic draft scenarios and they list Newton as the worst choice.
Would be even funnier if the same guy wrote it but he didn't.

wgas...the guy is right. our team sucks. although i've seen much more clever insultws hurled our way over the years...the best of them by members of this site.
It's hard to insult other teams in the NFL.

You know you can't teach stupid, so he must be a natural.
You can't fix stupid either. Ask Ron White.

He clearly has done his hw tho
Talking about Gabbert:
before his senior season I had read where he was a late round QB at best, and I saw NOTHING in his senior season that would catapult him all the way to the #1 spot!
Gabbert is a junior
Well, technically, he is right. He's a late round QB before his senior year(since he is a junior) and he didn't see anything in his senior year that would send him to #1 because he hasn't played it yet.
Just messin with ya.

They should have Ralph on some of the NFL apparell commercials. Alyssa Milano opens the door in a Bills teddy and there's Ralph.
I'm sure that would never air on account of Ralph having a heart attack on the spot.
Emperor Chancellor Palpatine?
Darth Sidious!!!

We better not unless this kid can play defensive tackle. Hell, would anyone be shocked thought we have done alot dumber in the past.
That's the part that really scares me. They might actually want to try him to defense.

Yes, the NFLPA is strongly against drug testing...wait, these guys are concerned about the players, right?
As long as they are keeping them employed and making them money. Yes, they are very concerned about the players.
That is a nice little contradiction that I've never put together though.

I really like how they say Brady has more money than he could spend in a lifetime and his talk about street cred. I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of players that made huge amounts of money(in football or any other sport) that have managed to bankrupt themselves. Yea Tim Graham, you know all about the street cred.

Run Run Pass Punt
I didn't know you were on the Bills? How else would you have gotten their playbook?

The guy might be the #1 overall pick. You'd think he'd raise the level of the talent around him.
Or everyone around him will lower his. I know it's not the best example in the world, or even a good one if feel that opposed to it but Jimmy C.(not saying he is comparable to Gabbert) didn't do much to raise his teams ability last year in the limited amount of games he played and was supposed to be something special.
I have no doubts 1 player can make the rest of the team better but there is always that other side of the coin I worry about more. Especially in Buffalo.

I would say he should try to get a tag team with Maybin but God know Maybin wouldn't know what to do after he actually tackled someone.

The article mentioned eliminting the wedge on kickoffs due to the numer of injuries during returns. I was a bit taken back by this as at least for the Bills I do't recall that many injuries on ST's (clearly Everett is an exception).
And I believe that was actually before they changed to a 2 man wedge instead of a 4 man wedge. Since 09 when they changed the wedge rule I really haven't seen(or at least hear of) many injuries during the kickoff as a result of the wedge so I don't get what the big deal is over it.
Basically they are trying to make the kickoff worthless. Kicking from the 35 will make things more dangerous IMO. Pretty much every kicker in the league can kick the ball into the endzone; except Lindell.
To me this means that more kickers will be able to put more height on the ball and players can get downfield quicker. Without the wedge at all they will have 2-3 players with a full head of steam coming down field ready to pop a guy that has only 1 person within 2 yards to protect him.
I know the ball gets there much faster than the players but no wedge to me seems like they will have 1,2 or even 3 guys converging on one player within a 1/2 second and increasing the likelihood of an injury.
Just one mans opinion.

Who is the Buffalo Bills highest paid player, Lee Evans...will he even be a Buffalo Bill next season?
Anyway, looking at Maybin and Kelsay...does anyone have any realistic trust that this band of old guys will select a player that will actually earn 3rd spot $$, and contribute next season.
How much money has Maybin been paid since he joined the Bills, his primary role is to sack the QB at DE/OLB....how many sacks does he currently have? First round pick John McCargo, how'd that pick work out....
CJ Spiller was supposed to make the O line block better, remember that line? he was supposed to be an exciting to RB....a guy that can't block, the #9 pick in the first round that can't outplay older free agent walk-on in Fred Jackson in any area. He had just 26 carries for 122 yards(4.69 YPC avg) makes you think the guy wasn't smart enough to learn the offense or blocking schemes, which made him a liability in all phases of the offense. 5 year 25M contract with 20.8 guaranteed
So many of the players drafted by this franchise in the first round the last decade, I'd be hesitant to even call some of them good enough to be considered mediocre
Based on this, I wouldn't be too upset if they traded their first for a later first and then traded that first and stock piled 2nd and 3rd round picks.

One thing that I'm really curious about is if Toronto is/has worked something into the contract that makes it so if anything happens to Ralph they are still obligated to play the games in Toronto. I'm basically thinking if someone came in and bought the team and planned on moving it in the next few years. If they had a 5 year contract would you think they would a)still want to/be able to move the team or b)just fly the team to Toronto twice a year.
Just thinking out loud.

I haven't understood why they do not even place him on special teams!?
Better off just having 10 guys on the kickoff in that case.

and knocked him over
I'm surprised he got by the front door.
