  1. Is our TE's going to be "pass catchers" this year? That is the question my friend. If not, Roscoe and Lee Evans are not the over the middle type of WR's if you're asking me.

As opposed to the past 8 seasons? Last Pass catching TE we had was Riemersma. At least the last pass catching TE that was actually used. Why we don't just put another lineman in there as an eligible receiver is beyond me since basically that's all our TE's do is block.

TE will be routinely blocking and that's about it. Maybe run an under route for 4 yards here and there but doubt you will see a post out of one this season.

  2. Isn't Donte the guy everyone was blaming our inability to cover TE's on last year? Thanks, but I'll pass. Sometimes it is truly addition by subtraction.

It's not like he got burned by Ben Watson twice, running the same play, to lose the game that the Pats came back to win on both of those plays.

    Oh right...

I would be wrong not to mention Leodis's nice fumble to force Donte into blowing the coverage.

  3. Actually listed to Joe B. broadcasting last night from a dorm room at training camp and my god was that the most rational good radio I have heard in a very long time. Him and Dan Fisher are the only reasons I listen to the shows. Both of them are not at all good broadcasters but they are much better than the main hosts.

Week 9 - NYJ at Buffalo (loss)

Week 10 - Buffalo at Dallas (loss)

Week 11 - Buffalo at Miami (loss)

Week 16 - Denver at Buffalo (win)

Week 17- Buffalo at NE* (win)

Going out on a limb for week 17 but if Pats are in I don't know how many of there starters will be playing.

6-10. Nothing out of the ordinary there.

  5. Yeah, but apparently he settled for Thigpen. Lombardi is reporting that the Bills were heavy after Tavaris Jackson, lost out, as always, and Thigpen was plan B. I like Thigpen, only because he was good with Gailey.,

I don't, however, like the fact that our GM is already 0-2.

The team and the GM should have pretty close to matching records.

  6. Never heard a more counterproductive interview...

When asked about Poz: It wasn't the money.

When asked about perception about Buffalo: Ignored the question about others, laughed, said he wouldn't consider that personally.

When asked about adding through FA: He feels people internally can step up to replace Poz.

I actually stopped listening cause the guy just sounded like he didn't care, and while I wouldn't expect him to go into his "plans" going forward...The interview itself was kind of infuriating.

It's on Wgr550.com if you wanna listen.

Thanks for the recap. I highlighted the part that grinds my gears. I don't know how Buddy really expects to fall into **** and come out smelling like a rose on this. He's not gonna sign any big names or fill positions of need. Good job getting Pigpen and all but seriously? I'm pulling for LeviF91 to make the team. Might as well have open tryouts like the Eagles did back in the day.

  7. 1. / 2. / 3. / 4. / 5. -Maybin. He is a man without a position, he really doesn't fit anywhere in the NFL. I cannot see why we prop him up when he has already flopped at 5 or more specific positions (Including Special teams).

Don't you have to play to have a bad season?

  8. The NHL is small potatoes compared to the NFL. And unlike football players, hockey players (who play on ice) don't really care too much where they play.

As for the Sabres specifically, they did extremely well under Golisano, who was basically a caretaker owner who didn't spend a lot on the team. And in the NHL, 16 out of 30 teams make the playoffs, meaning it's harder to miss them than make them. So while it's great that Pegs is spending money, it means little unless the Sabres win championships. Hopefully they do that, and if they do, we can revisit this again.

If your referring to where their home ice is, being that its an enclosed building, I understand, but if your saying ice is ice no matter where you play then you're dead wrong.
