  1. I have seen the others,

    and I have discovered,

that this fight is not worth fighting.

And I have seen their mothers,

And I will no other to follow me where I'm going.  Sooo.

Take a shower and shine your shoes,

you got no time to lose.

you are young man, you must be living,

    go now you are forgiven.

  2. So recently while cooking at my GFs house, her grill ended up dying on me (had propane but the burners wouldn't put out enough heat to do anything).  It was a small 3 burner grill and she said she was going to go to the store and get a new one.  An hour later, she comes home with this monster 6 burner grill with the rotisserie attachment that took me forever to put together.

Either way, finally got it together and working and she asked me if it was possible to cook a turkey on the rotisserie for Thanksgiving.  I figured it was since it can hold up to 40lbs but have never done anything like that.  Curious if anyone has tried to do a rotisserie turkey on a propane grill like this before.

Any secrets, recipes, etc. would be appreciated.

I feel like the anal-ytics would have been 33% punt, 33% FG and 33% go for it.  What were they actually?  I haven't seen the figures at that moment in time.

Someone broke down the winning percentage based on each option

    Punt: 99.9%

    Go for it: 99.3%

    Fg: 99.2%

Agree 👍 it’s frustrating throughout the entire NFL. At a time when training and conditioning keeps getting better it’s hard to understand. Speed size and strength of current athletes just may contribute to these types of injuries🤷🏻‍♂️

I honestly wonder what is is.  Less training camp, turf fields, diet, more restrictions on PEDs?  I really don't know but it seems like there are just as many in game injuries as practice injures over that time span.

    I'm on this boat.

Not gonna quote everyone for everything but I've had my share of back problems.  Scoliosis of the lower back since I was younger and ended up slipping 2 disks in my early 30's.  That experience messed up my I.T. band in my thigh and sciatic so much that it ended up causing nerve damage in my shin (I have about a 3" section below my knee that's about 60% feel now).

Chiro helped get my hips aligned and that's about all it did (it feels good but at most, every 6 month thing that makes sure your gait isn't making your back worse).

I know it's a dumb thing but simple stretching helps a bunch.  Getting a foam roller will help also.  It's basically a big hard pool noodle that is meant to hurt the living ***** out of you...... but in a good way.

Lastly, the even dumberest, yes, dumberest thing, is hydrate.  No matter what you do that's the one thing that needs to happen more than anything.  Trust me.  Going to a chiro and having them work you out when you are dehydrated is like asking them to hurt the living hell out you.

I was on the painkiller and gabapentin for a short time and complained to my doctor that the pain wasn't getting any better so naturally they just wanted to push me off and gave me a lifetime supply of it but  told me it was a monthly dose.  I quit taking that and started to do the other things I listed above and every now and then, when the pain comes to a point where I can't deal with it or take anymore advil/tylenol, I just take a quick hit off of a pen that I have stashed away.  It's the only thing that give me relief within about 10 minutes.

….We all know how great conditioning can prevent a torn bicep and achilles injury

There are things that take into account but I honestly don't remember as many players being as hurt as they are now compared to the early 2000's and late 90s (I'm assuming back they they just gave them a shot and said get back out there).

Either way, the soft tissue injuries seems to be a new thing that is happening when players aren't even playing in games over the last decade or two (or they have always been happening and social media has just made me more aware of it).

It'll be hard to find but it happened. @DrDawkinsteinprobably can remember it or find it.

I remember when that happened.  Good times.  Almost as good as Dean Norris (breaking bad, Hank) and his "sex gifs" tweet.

  8. I was watching the "calls from the booth" from the Bills and noticed that Murph was sitting in the back with the others and had to do a double take.  I know he said he was stepping away but at the same time it's good to see him still around the team.  I went back and looked and saw he was also in the booth for the Miami game this year.  Not sure if he was there last year or not but really happy to see that he looks like he's got his wits about him while watching the game.

I'm assuming he's probably not travelling but happy how good he is looking after his incident.

Seems like enough to cover a couple of acquisitions for the remainder of the season.

It puts them around 3m of available cap, I believe.  They like to save some for injury settlements and such so I'm guessing it's in the 1.5m range for the remainder of the season for whoever is coming after from the restructure.

Heard about this on WGR this morning if you want to look.  It accounts for remaining cap for this year on all players for the trade deadline.
