And not a single one of those was a Buffalo pick.  Thats 5 years in the top 3 rounds. The wr position has been so grossly undervalued by Mcbeane it should be malpractice

Gotta get after the QB first.  That why I'm expecting a DE in the first round.  Trust the process (I mean McDermott). 🙄

There's gotta be some frustration on his end.  I really think in his mind they were Super Bowl bound in 2022 and now they are starting over to a degree.  But I don't think there's probably anything more to it than that.  Just the nature of this business

I don’t know if it’s roster related or something else. Definitely something weighing on his mind.

Who knows for sure what's going on with him but I wouldn't be surprised if he is just feeling some stress or burnout from the team not meeting expectations.  The Bills have been through a lot the last two seasons.  But I do notice some differences in his demeanor and what he says in his press conferences now compared to a couple years ago.  One thing I like about Beane is his accountability as he does own up to mistakes he's made in the past.  I'm sure it takes a toll on him.

I like Beane .. But I think by his standards he has made a few bad calls over the past 2 years … perhaps he is feeling a bit of heat .. or it’s just the demands he puts on himself ..

We all know what it is.  It's that 3rd round comp pick.

Option 1:   Big Trade into top 10

Option 2:  Moderate move up for BTJ  + possible move up in Round 2

Option 3:  Trade back with CAR or WSH.  Come away with Two 2nds + 3rd  or even Three  2nds.

    (example: 28, 128, 160, 2025 2nd to CAR for 33, 39)

Option 4:  Stay at 28 and hope you strike gold.

Option 3 will be the worst options when it comes to the optics because all anyone is going to care about is if KC picks up a WR that we could have drafted before them.

To win games sure, but to make it to (and win) the Super Bowl you almost certainly need at least one great option. As has been the case for every Super Bowl team going back at least a decade.

Our best hope on that front is that Kincaid becomes a great pass catcher. Last year down the stretch he was a good pass catcher. If he becomes a high efficiency 100+ target pass catcher we can have a championship caliber offense. That or one of our rookie WRs hits the ground running which isn't inconceivable, other teams have gotten elite production out of rookies in recent years although it's rare.

There have been 11 100+ reception TE's in NFL history.  Kelce has 3 of them.

I know you said target pass catcher but even still, that would be putting him in the range of some all-time greats (Kelce, Gonzalaz, Witten, Clark).

I mean, I lean more towards Diggs being a problem, but that doesn’t mean that Josh is perfect.

Completely agree.  I think diggs show he was more of a problem when he started to sour with the media.  Not doing interviews and then when he would do them he would spin the question back at the reporter to either give no answer or absolve himself from saying anything wrong.

Then you have Allen going out to address the situation, which I still think was a bad move by the bills PR team, to try to put water on the fire seemingly ever week through the season.

Allen very well could have just been trying to say at the right things also but he didn't ignore the questions.

It's also possible they are both divas. Diggs can be a malcontent, an emotionally labile time bomb, and Josh can also have his own share of problems (doesn't put in the work, huge ego, etc) that he is responsible for.

    We just don't know.

We do know who shows up for voluntary training and who doesn't.

So that leads some to believe that diggs is training somewhere better than OBD, right?

I really wish the media would do their jobs and stop rehashing the Diggs drama. It’s over and done with.

They need to focus on what really happened with Brittany. I need to know the scoop.

It's all trickle down.  Tim Graham said something last week and others got wind of it.

The drama was there even during last season with the media.  Stephen A. turned out to probably be right in that regard that he wants to play with is brother.  We will see next off season.... unless he's traded again.

I think Diggs became too toxic for the locker room but there is no evidence he forced his way out of the contract because Josh snapped back at him.

Fair enough, but you know what I was getting at.  Players commit to one thing one day and change their minds the next day because "I'm no longer the focus".

Obviously it happens more with WRs for some reason, could be they are divas or just think they are more important than the team.  But once the front office knows it's more than they want to deal with, it becomes an organizational problem and not a personal problem.

I mean honestly, so what?  Did you ever snap at someone at work over something?  Did that lead you to hating the other person for the rest of the time you worked there?  Most likely not...you probably apologized and then by the next week it was forgotten and you were back to being fine with them.

People really are trying way too hard with this...

And this also shows me who has never played sports in their life.  Tim Graham for sure...because if you have played sports even in the youth levels and haven't snapped at someone in the heat of the moment, you would be on a very short list.  But someone who never played team sports as a kid wouldn't know this and would think this could be some huge thing...

All it does is show he is clueless.

Yes.  The average worker who has to go back to that same job everyday after snapping at someone and a youth level athlete snapping at someone is the same as a multi-millionaire that can have a fit and sit at home and still get paid those millions of dollars while forcing their way out of the contract they agreed to because they didn't like someone snapping back at them.

    Exact same thing.

Incidents like this.. players snapping at each other in the locker room after  a tough unexpected loss … would happen quite regularly in team sports…

Im not saying there weren’t issues with Diggs and Allen ..  but this particular story is a nothing burger in my opinion ..

I think it's more of how it was directly at Diggs when other players were talking to him as well.  I get that these these probably happen after a loss but it definitely adds to the idea that there was already issues between the two and that Diggs probably said something less than uplifting to Allen.

    1) In due course, pot will be legal everywhere in America, as it should be, though backward states like Texas may be the last to adapt.

    2) If we are going to start caring about pot and enforcing anti-pot policies among ALL NFL PLAYERS, there will not be anyone left to play football.

Abandoning an accident scene with injured people who were receiving medical care is a serious offense.

The pot thing is not worth discussing.

It's worth discussing when your seen fleeing from the scene of a crime and had been operating a motor vehicle with 10 grams of weed in the vehicle.

The legality of weed, I couldn't care less, the possibility of driving while intoxicated and avoiding getting caught by leaving is kind of a red flag for me.
