  1. Just because they thought it through doesn't mean it was intelligent thought.
  2. Don't ask me why I know this (because I honestly don't know why I ever searched for them) but for the longest time when you would search "washington co" in google it would show "Washington Commanders" in the dropdown. As soon as you hovered over "Washington Commanders" it would autocomplete the search bar with "Washington Football Team". It appears like they fixed it now though.
  3. I think the only play that they have is that the NFL (Godell) backed Snyder when he said that Synder didn't interfere with the Wilkinson investigation (I have no idea if he did or not but I'm sure they could try to say Godell was 'covering' for Snyder). The only other thing I can think of is if Godell could have punished the team/Snyder prior to this going to Congress (which I don't know if the $10m covers all of this or not). Edit: And as your previous post states, it does not.
  4. I believe it still is also (I'm also not following that closely either) but I'm sure it is something that would be used either way. Just from a quick google search here is what he did last month: - Avoided being served a subpoena by taking a vacation on his yacht (and his lawyer wouldn't accept the subpoena on his behalf). - Agreed to testify remotely instead of being served so he wouldn't have to testify under oath (which was rejected by the committee).
  5. Snyder and Kraft begin used against them is the biggest reason. Handing out the punishment to Ross softened that argument a little though.
  6. Vick at least served time for what he did.
  7. Not to mention that horrific PR statement from the Browns/Haslems. Everything about it just comes off as scum of the earth.
  8. Yet another reason the NFLPA is just blowing smoke. The only thing the want is players to get off easy (no pun intended) and get paid. They might have to pick which one is more important on this one if they want to file against.
  9. I'll be listening for sure if that's the case. Never listen to podcasts.
  10. Longer is one thing but "a lot longer" sounds like they are going for at least 12.
  11. I think Dorsey has been in this offense long enough to leave it to Allen to audible when he feels like it's the right call. I would imagine he had a front row seat to how Allen and Daboll interacted on the field and wants to keep that relationship.
  12. So then a better statement would be "the nfl didn't tell Watson HOW wrong it was" which in either event really shouldn't be measured in terms of sexual assault regarding the PCP.
  13. The league didn't give him fair notice. I'm not sure how you would interpret that other than, they didn't tell him doing that was wrong.
  14. As the judge stated, Watson wasn't informed by the nfl prior to his acts that it was wrong. (Not verbatim but basically what she said) No joke. Though I think that this is a precursor to Godell appealing for 12 games for Watson in hopes the NFLPA doesn't file against them. Basically him saying, "see, we punish owners too"
  15. I have enough problems in public spaces let alone twitter spaces.
  16. Sounds like he already had a hyper extension. You want him to break it off completely? Beat me by a minute. 😆
  17. It's all a disguise. Once they play in a real game they will all drop into coverage... oh right, Rex is gone. Nvm.
  18. I get so many incoherent messages from friends that swear by voice to text that I'm pretty sure I've developed some sort of brain tumor or aneurysm from trying to decipher it.
  19. Wait I thought you worked for TBD with how much you post news/tweets 😆 Why is SDS scheduling meetings during practice?
  20. Poyer is likely the odd man out of the group if he's looking for anything substantial. It's the other three that Beane is going to have to figure out what to do with if they have a great year.
  21. And she just set the precedent. 1.5 games for every sexual assault that they deem worthy of interviewing the victim. Really is mind-blowing. They can but then they open themselves up to questioning about how the owners have done shady ***** and gotten away with it. I doubt they will appeal just for that reason alone.
  22. Well there goes our slot receiver. 😆
