He has a lot of bad habits still. I thought we were over this. But sigh. We’re not. hes still not identify pre snap pressure. He’s still not consistently identifying the free rusher - which is his responsibility. He still CAN not for the love of good. Move up in the pocket or navigate the pocket comfortably and deliver a throw. Consistently. he FREAKS out. And runs and bails right. He still doesn’t take the zero play. Dirt balls. Just quickly throw oob when the play is clearly F’d and he still seems to be mentally frazzled too much and hes not good enough in late game situations against good teams down or within one score edit : oh and the obvious biggest one. Still will not take the easy open underneath its maddening

Burrow throws deep balls very well. And for that matter throws every ball very well. It’s always catchable and on target. With fine point accuracy. allen never been that. Nor been that consistent. Think about it. Be honest. How many times has diggs or John brown or sanders had to adjust big time / come back and catch a super underthrown or off target 20+ throw. It’s a lot.

No way in hell they’re firing him. Owning the Sabres is the ultimate juxtaposition as to having the worst team year in and year out in professional sports league. Paying coaches and then forced to fire and eat all that $ w contracts. He wants NO part of that w the bills. No no no. Sean and Brandon are more than good enough. And it’s sad bc we are in HC and FO purgatory ladies and gentlemen. I thought Allen would have to ascend to mahommes level / elite consistent qb play. But I don’t think Allen ever will. He needs help. Get ready!

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

Is this turning into that old sign OBJ thread? -
Didn’t George Wilson play safety for the bills ? “The senator”?
-
Dont worry they’ll trample all over the bills. Aaron gonna come out super motivated cuz he’s sucked the last two. He’s home , he wants to be vindicated for firing Saleh, and he wants a little revenge for last year Achilles. Yes. He’s that mental. Im thinking a nice first round safety. Then double dipping at corner w their first 2nd. Then a DT with second 2nd. all. Low RAS guys that are 5th year seniors from non power 5 conf that scouting profile read like this “limited athletically, but high motor , coach on the field, and a TEAM CAPTAIN”
-
Yes how about he stops getting walked back like a P word at the end of games on 3rd down when our qb is about to make a big pass but can’t cuz he’s thrown into Allen’s face
-
You’re missing the point. You’re in WR land . Juju NOW. Is different than JUJU breakout wr in his first two seasons w pit its about the qb/ oc and command of the offense
-
For sure. We’ll never get to see Reid and Pat w a complete wr swap. But. Come on. To an extent- Kareem hunt and juju - who nobody wanted. Hunt is out of the league. They know the system. And so chiefs O doesn’t skip a beat when they plug these after thoughts and get insane production. The analogy would be bring back John brown and latavius and they get stats like that? (Again can’t completely get a good 1:1 comparison. Bc they are older in age)
-
https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/3120348/juju-smith-schuster Two good years at pit. Then tailspin . Oh wow production w kc. Then disaster in NE. Oh look back in kc. No rashee rice. Juju forced into WR 1 and he gets 8 for 9. 130 . 18 per. And 50 long. WHAT. Also Kareem hunt goes OfF. He was out of the league if this ever proves that WR doesn’t matter (that much - I know bills have no one) - and supports. It’s all qb and oc / command of the system. The “weapons” are plug and play
-
Did you read what I said? Look at with KC and then without. Hes past his prime. They are. My point is kc can still roll. And we go 9/30 and look inept. It’s more qb / oc execution , discipline and command of the offense

Josh Allen Performance Yesterday..a Redux
balln replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
For all the - our WR room is trash ppl. its not. Look at kc last night. Juju. Who was hot garbage w/ teams outside of kc. But somehow. Was 7 catches for 130 at 18 yards per catch. Long of 50. On 8 targets. Also look at how efficient they. Are it’s like 8 for 9, 4 for 4 to other receivers. ITS not the WRs. It’s the QB and the OC. Always was. Always is. always will be. They have a system. They have the qb. They have the qb in total command of that system. We do not. https://www.espn.com/nfl/boxscore/_/gameId/401671687#home this is why I circle back to firing McD. Hes not gonna hire an OC that will click here. We need a Ben Johnson or slovik -

Hey! You don’t talk about Ian “Mr jets “ Eagle and Charles “captain obvious” Davis like that! You just DONT!
-
Thanks. Excellent

Yea. I’m one of the few. That I think he actually stays well away from the offense on game day. i used to think the opposite. Wants 3 runs. Last year Philly , and multiple other games in the past Im sure he chirps in the head set once in a while. But this year I honestly think he decided to just be ceo as head coach and TRUST and have FAITH in his coordinators. well. Good bye to that idea ladies and gentlemen. This game. Will SWING right on back to him having more control. its a shame. All Josh and Brady had to do was complete passes/ take the short underneath I think Brady just lets the players do what they want. They mentioned in offseason interview- players just get to tell him what plays they like and want to run. Mmmmmm. Ok. No. Coach needs to run a tighter ship. Enough of the faith crap. You know Josh is gonna do what he’s gonna do. He needs to be corralled A LOT. He needs to be reminded, A LOT to stay on schedule.
-
Hes super attention to detail. Route spacing. Timing.
-
Yea this is a silly thread at this point . Maybe Kincaid is “close” but I actually agreed, for once w McD, neither were worthy to throw a red flag doesn’t matter - I think they lost bc we didn’t call a TO when Mitch played one snap. And then did nothing w two turnovers on O
-
End this thread. None were getting overturned. Ppl complaining about “can’t take timeouts “ with you. Yes well you do LOSE a challenge. And as we know. You may need it at the critical end of game !

Worst (regular season) coached game in the entire McD era
balln replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea I don’t get it. This is PROFESSIONAL sports. Franchises fire coaches for FAR less. It’s cut throat. He’s stale. He’s continuously poor on game day. His coordinators stink. FIRE HIM -
My thoughts exactly: last time we came from behind or won a tight game vs a good team. Was @ BAL in the rain 3 years ago

What’s the breakdown based on records ? W/L vs above 500 teams in close games w/L vs below 500 teams in close games
