  1. Me digging a hole? Judging by the response to your post, everyone sees through what you are doing. The bigger question is why are you doing it? Do you expect your question to provoke us to think about what the bills mean to Buffalo and to our life and finally realize that Ralph, not Jesus, is our true savior? Do you expect us to finally see the the error of our ways and join you at the altar of Ralph? Looks like there will be plenty of communion wine to go around at the First Sychophant's Church of Ralph. Drink up.
  2. No, you asked a loaded question, but keep playing your games.
  3. Of course you didn't come out and say it, but you implied it. Your original question, after the obligatory fellating of Ralph, was this: You should be on the Bills' payroll. 14,000 posts worth of thank your lucky stars we even have a team. I'll ask the question you really meant and answer it. Would you rather have a team that sucks forever, is horribly managed, and doesn't make any real effort at fielding a competitive team, or no team at all? My answer is no team at all. In the last 51 years, we have had 10 season of competitive football. The last 11 have been a joke. Ralph is a feeble incompetent sucking the last bit of meat off the bone. Give me a team that cares, or give me no team at all.
  4. No you're not. You're asking this : which is an entirely different question. That's the problem people have with the question you are posing. Of course we want the team, or we wouldn't be here. Suggesting we have no right to complain about the crappy way the team is run is wrong. You think we should sit, down, shut up, blindly support the team, and spend all our money on them no matter how ineptly they are run? Because that seems to be what you are suggesting. You seem to have a hard time internalizing that people can love an entity, like the Bills or our country, but be unhappy about the way that entity is managed. The great thing about being an American, or a Bills fan, is that we have that right. Exercising that right to complain when things aren't being run the way they should be isn't just a right, its an obligation.
  5. St. Louis has drafted well in recent years, and Bradford looks like a legit starting QB in this league. They are several steps ahead of the bills. Washington is a closer call, I will grant you that. That's why they play the games. I wold be surprised if any of those three teams picks before us next year.
  6. Time will tell, won't it? Washington is the only one of those three nearly as bad as the Bills.
  7. All three of those teams are better than the Bills. Detroit will be in the playoff hunt, and will very likely earn a wild card if Stafford can stay healthy.
  8. If he plays 5 games this year I will be surprised. Damned border agents...
  9. What an embarrassment of riches we have at the WR position..
  10. I think 11' bills would kick ass! They would make great receivers in the red zone, and could probably block some kicks! I have to dispute your assertion that Levitre can play LT. Haven't you heard? He's a god damned T-Rex!
  11. Is Brad Smith smart enough to play in the CFL? Would he be a quarterback there or would the hicks from the deep south like Fort Erie and Welland keep him down?
  12. Damn - I knew I should have gone to southwest missouri northern state college university with Brad Smith. Too bad I couldn't get in.
  13. Brad Smith is just as dumb as Jamarcus Russel. There's the answer to the inevitable question of what Jamrcus Russel and Brad Smith have in common besides being black. Oh, and they are both sucky quarterbacks.
  14. He could be a starting quarterback if he wasn't so dumb.
  15. Point 1: Do you have any idea where Stanford is, or what conference they are in? Yes, staying in school and getting his degree, especially after his coach told him he was going to stay (before he ultimately left) is a clear indication Luck doesn't really want to be an NFL player Point 2: Then why comment on something you admit you know nothing about?
  16. wrong. Kerry Collins and Jim Plunkett for starters. Edit: oops, someone already got Plunkett. Add Collins to the list, though.
  17. That's a partially true colloquialism. Prosecutors are limited in what they can say to the press, but not to the NFL. The police and prosecutors can give the NFL their entire file if they want. Besides, if he is charged prior to grand jury, the felony complaint is public, as is the police docket. And if he is charged and a preliminary hearing on the felony is conducted, it's a public hearing that anyone can attend.
  18. No, I don't realize that, because its not necessarily true. It occurred on NYS soil. Their is concurrent jurisdiction between NY and the feds. They can both prosecute at the same time if they want, although that is uncommon. Unless the amount is large enough for their standards, the feds won't prosecute, they will hand it off to the state. There is no such rule about divulging info in NY, not sure about the federal rule.
  19. No **** sherlock - who knows whether the State police or other local law enforcement were involved - who knows whether the stuff was sent to a federal crime lab, an Erie County lab, or one the the State Police Crime labs - are we really arguing over my use of an L v. A when we are obviously both conversant in it, you dumb ass? Or should we keep taking cheap shots at each other?
  20. NY's version is called the Freedom of Information Law or FOIL It's found at Sec 84-90 of the Public Officer's Law, smart ass. FOIA is the freedom of Information ACT - its the Federal version.
  21. So what? What's your point? Because Goodell hasn't called you to tell you what he knows there is nothing to it? Stick your head in the sand if you want - but don't think that because certain facts aren't currently reported they don't exist, or might not exist in the future. The best thing anyone can hope for, if they are intent on having Merriman on the roster even if he is or was back on steroids, is that there was no personal conduct or drug policy until the new CBA was ratified.
