As sad as it is for some of you to believe it, Lynch is only a year short of getting a degree from one of the best universities in the country. I doubt Applebee's is in his future. But thank god, he finally showed up to VOLUNTARY offseason drills.
So you're saying he didn't finish something he started?
-
Good for him. Guess he didn't want to have to get a job at Applebee's.

This list makes no sense. From top to bottom.
Why would it? The analysts in these 'publications' are just message board posters with a platform to distribute their posts.

Over the long haul, being pessimistic and negative about the Bills has proven correct far more often than your unabashed optimism.
"correct" is a funny way to put it. I'd say the results on the field don't prove it to be the "correct" way at all. I'd rather believe every year and be happy rather than make myself miserable. Some people like miserable though. Everybody should look at it the way that they feel best about...I feel best about enjoying Bills Football whether they win or lose.

The offensive line will need to be able to go one on one for at least some plays for the offense to be effective. It's all futile if the QBs have about 2 seconds to get the ball out.

The one point that doesn't make sense with regard to Wilson's comment is that why would reporters at the draft say "Bills officials" were fuming and angry immediately after Tebow was selected? (Baseless conspiracy theories aside.) From Wilson's comment, you'd think the "officials" would be giggling like little school girls at faking out the Broncos.
If there's been one consistent thing this off season, it is that the Bills don't do what the pundits think they are going to do and it seems to make the pundits very angry.
It seems that they've gone old school and tell the reporters something different than what they plan to do.

I'd suggest trying out the search function on the board.

I'd suggest searching for threads on topics before starting new ones. If you don't how to search then there is a 'Help' button at the upper right. Use it.

No one ripped his rating because like all ratings from 'analysts', they are irrelevant.

DJ may not have been the ideal HC, but the bird man, Byrd is a reminder of what DJ was all about,
praying to god that your players have a father for a coach so you don't have try to coach them?

JIM KELLY was just stating that a Cali. QB does not work in Buffalo,We have seen it the past 6 years or so!!!!!!!!!!!!
Correct, Tom Brady would never have worked in Buffalo. He just doesn't have what it takes.
-
Could this be a part of the reason why Peters left? Hell if I'm a 300+ lb lineman and my team doesn't believe in strengthening my legs I'd be worried.
No, he left because even in Jauron's resort camp the work was too much. Also, no Krispy Kreme. Too Expensive.

Every NFL team has disgruntled players. Lucky for us we have two very good RBs that are ready and willing to lay it on the line for the Bills in 2010. I will file this in the "who cares" category.
Is a 3rd worth it? I prefer the attitude of "STFU Lynch and do your job. You're not going anywhere unless you improve enough to get your worth."

Bills have found their wang.
Win

When reporters are wandering around the locker room and ask Donte a question, what do you specifically want him to do?
Decline comment completely? Just curious.
Twitter about it.

This thread has unique and one of a kind knowledge. Highly recommended. Would read again.

Kelly hated losing. If stepping on toes and hurting people's feelings is what it took to win, then so be it.
And from the multiple closed door players only meetings during the SB years, I want to assume he was not the only one.
So would not going out and partying and keeping your teammates focused during the Superbowl week be part of 'doing what it takes to win'?

Season Over, time to slit the wrists. If Kirwan says it, it's gold.

Great. We'll make you the leader of the Council of Trent.
friggin apologists
probably think flutie walks on water too don't you
No, I'll pass on Trent as a QB. I guess you didn't read the disclaimer. Reading is fundamental.
I was pointing out that people call on the guy to be more of an '!@#$' like Kelly was and then he does something that would fall in line with that and they criticize him for it.
It seems we have many fans who are more interested in their opinions being validated than winning.

I would bet anything there's no way the Bills get out of the bottom five. I've been looking all over and can't find anything other than the top 10 either. Owens did do very well last year though, consistently in the top 15 in sales with his Bills jersey. With him gone, and the Bills not really having anyone else of interest, and no uniform changes this year, there's no way they aren't near or at the bottom this year.
I bet we don't have a top 50 outside of Owens. Maybe 100.
No offense, but your personal opinions/feelings aren't fact. The USA Today article that I referenced is the only thing I've seen and I see no reason it would have changed a great deal in the past three years.

I like that people call for a Jimbo mentality and Trent's comments would be exactly that mentality.
Disclaimer: This statement does reflect support or derision for any Quarterback mentioned and is not a comment on the QB competition.

“I was staying in with my uncle Lee and my cousin Sam, and it got to a point where [playing video games] was all I was doing,” Lynch said. “And I got so good at the Wii bowling game I could bowl a strike from the other room."
Nice to see Marshawn is still lying. The Wiimote's range is very limited and unless that room is *very* tiny then it won't work in 'another' room or even 'across the room'. If there is no interference and good conditions then it will work about 15' away.
-
Link? I can't imagine the Bills aren't in the bottom five in merchandise. Market size has nothing to do with it. And if it wasn't for TO, I bet we would have been dead last a year ago. We have zero marketable players that any NFL fan would want outside of being a Bills fan. Hell, most of us don't even know who to buy if we feel like purchasing one.
The NFL only releases the top 10 teams in terms of jersey sales so it would be very difficult to find an definitive source.
Reebok's Vice President Dan White has quoted the Bills as placing specifically in 15th in 2006 and I'd imagine that's about where they stay.

thats an embarrassing article for all sides involved
Mostly for the reporter. What happened to objective journalism? Quotes from all sides? It reeks of, "holy crap, an NFL player granted me an interview!"

He *could* also be a great NFL running back. If either happens, be sure to let me know.
