  1. The Bills really need to look into their Strength and Conditioning coaching. After a certain point, it's not saying it's coincidence...is difficult.

It's good to see the Bills look stout so far. Color me impressed. Did the Giants give the template for beating Brady?

I really hope the Pats don't score 17

  2. Good point. And what about Wilson trading Peters?

No idea what this has to do with Peters. If you're looking for a Peters thread...look...anywhere else.

I think it's important to note the post that pointed out that Crabtree will also be entirely unable to even talk to other teams (officially). If he does, and someone drafts him...I think the 49ers would have an excellent case for compensation so I'm guessing they would be keeping an ear to the ground for any such situation.

  3. You know, both sides are to blame for the extreme views in both ways. Stop believing your opinion has to be right and then desperately trying to justify it. Both sides have been way too far out on limbs. Peters supporters and detractors have been doing this for too long, just shut up about it already and watch football.

  4. Since there will be no salary cap next year he thinks. maybe rightfully so, that some team will draft him and pay the big money without needing to worry about salary cap ramifications.

I just think he's stupid and egotistical on a whole new level. You miss training camps as a ploy, not games. The 49ers now know he has no choice to sign with them unless he wants to lose a whole, whole lot of money. They have very little reason at this point to offer him the money they were previously.

  5. I think the big problem is that everyone including the Bills are confused about "No Huddle" and "Hurry Up" offense. If they're just "huddling" at the line then I think there are distinct advantages. If they're zinging it out and not using the clock effectively to control the ball then it's pointless because they won't put up the points of a high powered offense.

  6. I'm not sure which pop warner leagues you or Turk are watching that utilize the check down pass.

If you had bothered to read the previous threads, you would have discovered pretty much every top quarterback and offense employ a "simple" offense. You would have also caught a great article about Belichick in which it speaks about his offensive philosophy being about keeping it simple.

So hooray, you've joined the leagues of let's criticize every single thing about the team regardless of whether it's a good, bad, zany decision whether it's about football, personnel, penny pinching or parking. I do apologize if you're just practicing for a job on Fox News though.

  7. I'll admit no one wanted Dick LeBeau to leave.

Maybe LeBeau wants a head coaching job

I think it's important for the OC to be someone who supports the QB he has and not try to smash an offense on a guy who can't handle that particular offense. I think one of the reasons many QBs are successful is because they are defacto running the offense and the coordinator...coordinates.

  8. Competence in the front office is surely in question, but I can't blame them for getting rid of a guy who wasn't working out. If we're going to blame them for all the bad decisions then blaming them for removing one of those doesn't really work.

The guy (Schonert) obviously doesn't understand the way the NFL works as he has effectively sunk his career in the NFL or certainly another coordinator position. How much ego does it take to "have" to speak out? To absolutely have to say something derogatory? Most guys get that you can say it to the people who actually matter (ie not the press). He didn't and I think it calls his decision making ability in play.
