Why is everyone all over this idea that TO is going to explode if he doesn't get the ball? He's on a one year deal and he understands that he's probably going elsewhere or needs to show the Bills a reason to give him 6 million a year.
-
Yes, I'm sure Poz doesn't work on strength. And I'm sure they have specific exercises to prevent getting hurt when your own player runs into your knees.
A "Curse" is much more logical...
-
The Bills really need to look into their Strength and Conditioning coaching. After a certain point, it's not saying it's coincidence...is difficult.
It's good to see the Bills look stout so far. Color me impressed. Did the Giants give the template for beating Brady?
I really hope the Pats don't score 17

Good point. And what about Wilson trading Peters?
No idea what this has to do with Peters. If you're looking for a Peters thread...look...anywhere else.
I think it's important to note the post that pointed out that Crabtree will also be entirely unable to even talk to other teams (officially). If he does, and someone drafts him...I think the 49ers would have an excellent case for compensation so I'm guessing they would be keeping an ear to the ground for any such situation.

The Bills have some gall even taking the field against the Patriots.
-
You know, both sides are to blame for the extreme views in both ways. Stop believing your opinion has to be right and then desperately trying to justify it. Both sides have been way too far out on limbs. Peters supporters and detractors have been doing this for too long, just shut up about it already and watch football.

The whole saga is annoying as hell, but is it Bret's who out there pushing everyone to talk about it? The writers write what the fans are interested in...so...
-
Since there will be no salary cap next year he thinks. maybe rightfully so, that some team will draft him and pay the big money without needing to worry about salary cap ramifications.
I just think he's stupid and egotistical on a whole new level. You miss training camps as a ploy, not games. The 49ers now know he has no choice to sign with them unless he wants to lose a whole, whole lot of money. They have very little reason at this point to offer him the money they were previously.

Crabtree is an idiot. He will come out on the losing end of this deal. He is now a 5th rounder or lower next year,
So did Al Davis...make a good decision?
I feel sick saying that, I need to go lie down.

Wow, you people really hate the guy. I wish he wasn't in the division, but..wow. There is no spoon to some people even if it's right in front of their face.
I'll take him as the Bills coach any day.
-
if he doesnt go then the trade w/ne is probbly cancelled
As I understand it, the trade is done. It's the Raiders that will "suspend" him without pay at this point. That seems to be what ESPN thinks anyway.
-
And, John Clayton just sat there looking like he had to take a dump or something.
To be fair, he always looks like that and I would to if I had to do a show with those guys.
-
and people think TO is bad..
-
I think that actually goes the other way. They seemed OK with a guy who "never" started in the NFL. If it wasn't Brady, it would be somebody else. If Brady wasn't on the Patriots, how many rings does he have?
-
I think the big problem is that everyone including the Bills are confused about "No Huddle" and "Hurry Up" offense. If they're just "huddling" at the line then I think there are distinct advantages. If they're zinging it out and not using the clock effectively to control the ball then it's pointless because they won't put up the points of a high powered offense.
-
How do you people even think this ranking ia *about* the fans...wow.

All rational and reasonable positions, Hide! Quick!

Dude got completely outplayed by Navy's starting QB. Instead of coming up with his gameday makeup plan, he should have had his nose in his playbook trying to make sense of that "NFL" caliber NAVY DEFENSE!!
He was trying to be like Vick though...

So let's see if I have this straight:
Pro-Bowl LT demands contract equivalent to overpaid but adequate RT.
No, you got it wrong.
-
I'm not sure which pop warner leagues you or Turk are watching that utilize the check down pass.
If you had bothered to read the previous threads, you would have discovered pretty much every top quarterback and offense employ a "simple" offense. You would have also caught a great article about Belichick in which it speaks about his offensive philosophy being about keeping it simple.
So hooray, you've joined the leagues of let's criticize every single thing about the team regardless of whether it's a good, bad, zany decision whether it's about football, personnel, penny pinching or parking. I do apologize if you're just practicing for a job on Fox News though.
-
I'll admit no one wanted Dick LeBeau to leave.
Maybe LeBeau wants a head coaching job
I think it's important for the OC to be someone who supports the QB he has and not try to smash an offense on a guy who can't handle that particular offense. I think one of the reasons many QBs are successful is because they are defacto running the offense and the coordinator...coordinates.
-
Competence in the front office is surely in question, but I can't blame them for getting rid of a guy who wasn't working out. If we're going to blame them for all the bad decisions then blaming them for removing one of those doesn't really work.
The guy (Schonert) obviously doesn't understand the way the NFL works as he has effectively sunk his career in the NFL or certainly another coordinator position. How much ego does it take to "have" to speak out? To absolutely have to say something derogatory? Most guys get that you can say it to the people who actually matter (ie not the press). He didn't and I think it calls his decision making ability in play.
-
Ya know...at this point, I'm not so sure the Eagles organization "of this year" is model you want to build around.
-
Funny enough, there's an article on ESPN right now about Bill Belichick...who says the exact same thing...Offense should be simple.

did anyone else just catch them say, "the Second time the Patriots Offense puts up points in this game"? It's so unbelievable that they have to call the winning team the Patriots.
