The Bills are my team. Sure I moved away from Buffalo and the suckitude isn't cool. It doesn't mean I'm going to turn around and root for someone else or stop watching. I think you just have other things in your life and embrace being a fan whether they're good, bad or other.

McKelvin has needed an attitude adjustment for some time. Let's hope this is it.
-
0-3 here we come!
I think they have a good shot against Tampa Bay.
-
It's not surprising. McKelvin thought he could win the game on his own...despite the multiple instances that he was proven wrong (including a previous fumble) earlier in the game. He needs some work on the fundamentals of the game, his coverage was ugly and his tackling was...ugh.
-
Cut him. He'll never play in the NFL. Let him go find a career at a desk.
Not going down immediately was one of the worst decisions I've seen in a game
-
How can you say you don't know about that. If me or you were coaching this team we would be running over to the special team huddle screaming our heads off, "men if you maintain possession of this ball wether they on side kick or kick it off, we win the game. Secure the ball and get down."
At that point, I'm expecting the player is being talked to by the ST coach and has enough sense to go down and not fight for extra yard.
-
He was probably told to fall to the ground in the fetal position the first time a patriots player was within five yards of him. McKelvin was always quick to talk about his return abilities. Somehow his extra two feet would have won the game.
-
No Sir. The head coach is the one that should be reminding the assistant coaches about these things, and taking an active role in the mindset of the end of game intricacies.
I don't know about that, but it shows that McKelvin's attitude...that *his* two yards would make a difference. There's just no positive out of that except in his own head. Maybe he starts to focus now and becomes a better player for it. His fundametals were awful tonight. He couldn't tackle either.

To everyone flipping out at McKelvin/Jauron/April for taking it out of the endzone...WAKE UP!! You could clearly tell that he didnt know whether or not he had fielded the ball behind the goal line or not. Hence why it took him a good 2 seconds to take off from the goal line. If you want to argue the fact that he just didnt get down...thats a different story.
It's not taking out that was the problem. It was fighting for yardage...waking up seems in order for McKelvin
-
I don't blame McKelvin for trying to make something happen. At least he showed heart and went for that killer instinct. He tried. I'm actually glad to see that. Should he have run it back...questionable, but he tried.
Under any freaking circumstances, he should not have been fighting for a yard. If someone did that in high school football they would be running laps until they graduated. It's utter arrogance by a guy who hasn't shown all that much to think his fighting for an extra yard would save the game (ignoring *ALL* football sense).
That's a coaching issue because he has not been slapped down.

Mckelvin is my new most hated person on the earth - right now I hate him more than Coy Wire - and tht is saying a lot.
I think I hate him more than Norwood
-
It wasn't McKelvin's fault. How does the coach not tell him "what every you do don't fumble, get f'ing down", the fact he was fighting for yardage tells me the coach didn't tell him.
The Coach hasn't eliminated his whining about returning kicks. He needs to focus on tackling.
-
Why'd he take it out? We were winning, we didn't need a run back. Why risk the fumble? Dammit. We HAD this game.
because he's been kevtching about returning kicks forever...ridiculous. He needs to focus on tackling.
-
Hooray, it's fellate Tom Brady time again
-
McKelvin...seriously...unforgivable
-
50 seconds, 2 TOs. All we need is a field goal to win. I would've taken this if you'd told me before kickoff.
me too, let's go O!
-
I just don't fathom how a player can go out there without having been told 1000 times to just GET DOWN
-
Why weren't they in this guys ear before the kick to just go down? We have a world class punter...
-
WTF, MCkelvin...
-
time to bring the pressure...they can't dink and dunk to 11 points at this point.
-
just gotta keep it together now...hope they don't start getting overexcited and making mistakes
-
Let's hear it for the line...I've only noticed one of the rookies making big mistakes.
-
Geez, McKelvin needs some practice with the fundamentals
-
any injury update on Poz?
out for the game...same arm from last year

Mckelvin was embarrassed all game long. I can see blaming the coaching for not doing something, but then again...they had other people getting burned too.
