  1. The NFL is doing the nation a favor by getting a running start on instituting the mercy rule for this game, knowing the Bills are going to clobber the Bolts:

    35-POINT MERCY RULE

    Rule 3-1-2:
Running clock: Upon completion of the first half
of an interscholastic football game at any level of
competition or anytime during the second half
when a team gains a 35-point differential over its
    opponent,
the clock shall be stopped only when an
    official’s time-out is taken, a charged time-out is
granted, a period ends or a score occurs. Once
implemented, the mercy rule remains in effect,
even if the differential becomes less than 35
    points.

Many of you are too young to remember the 2005 Steelers game. All we needed was a win to make the playoffs; the Bills were on a five-game winning streak. The Steelers had clinched a playoff spot and made it known early in the week they were sitting their starters--which they did--and we still lost 29-24.

Never count your wins before the game is played!

I agree on the second point. But Josh missed him on the first throw. It bounces 3 yards infront of McKenzie. That was a QB miss. Isaiah's head is round when the ball is halfway there. It just falls short.

I agree; the ball was about 3 yards short - he just missed him on that throw.

On point number 6. I definitely agree with Rapp. Dude scares me to include for our own players safety.

Dodson being penalized was unfair I thought. Dak was still running and looked like he was about to cut inside. I mean he barely started the slide process and he was basically on top of Dodson. QBs, if they want to be protected, need to slide to allow an appropriate amount of space and human reaction time to the defender.  Same thing goes for QBs running out of bounds.

He hit him in the head, helmet to helmet. Good news, we also got that call later on Shakir.

2 easy wins coming up and then 1 more tough one in Miami.

This team looks like it could/should win out.

Easy! Who was it that started the thread after the Miami game about how we could go unbeaten? … You youngsters will never learn.
