  1. Although "stupid" was a little harsh, you're right on this point. To claim that Ralph only got in because he owns an NFL team is pretty silly.
  2. I wish the Bills had gameplanned for the game like the Titans obviously did. A fake punt? WR screens? Timing routes? Motion all over the place? Settle down, children.
  3. If true, finally some sanity. Even with Moreno signing, Joel Segal (Maybin's agent) could still have waited for a decision on Crabtree (I hope the 49'ers call his bluff and pull their contract offer) so as to get a better contract. Or maybe Segal knows that Crabtree isn't getting even close to what he asked for and is only being offered the 10th slot salary, making a continued "holdout" a bad idea. I don't know. Just sign a contract and get into camp, rookie!
  4. That Ralph admitted it, after what Polian pulled that was the straw that broke the camel's back, is pretty revealing.
  5. Gee, you think?
  6. Any update on McCargo?
  7. The Bucs will be horrible this year, and for the foreseeable future.
  8. Eh? The HW trade netted the Cowboys 3-1st and 3-2nd rounders, to go with the Cowboys' 1st overall picks in successive years (1989 and 1990).
  9. Jones owes it all to Jimmy Johnson and the Herschel Walker trade. And to their credit, at least the Cowboys' 3 rings aren't tainted.
  10. Jones caught 41 passes for 449 yards and 1 TD last year with the Titans. I doubt he was being counted-on to be the #1 guy in Crabtree's absence.
  11. It's boring.
  12. Burgess, who has never played OLB before, at OLB in the Patriots' system, after missing a week of training camp? Not to mention he's 31 and has been tailing-off the past 2 years? Good luck with that one.
  13. Polian is gone. Get over it. The Bills had 4 shots to win the SB under him and failed, mostly because they didn't face pretenders like the Bears in the SB's. And given his irascible nature, he wouldn't have survivied after the Bills missed the playoffs in 1995, at best. As for Butler, he died, so I don't know what you're getting at there. Because I've found that those who claim they "would" spend more, actually don't spend anything at all currently. IOW, it's all talk. So, how many games do you see a year? I'm guessing by your evasiveness, none.
  14. Who were clients of his that held out? And here's a post just a few posts before yours:
  15. You said he had 2 clients hold out. I know he's had contract disputes, but to my knowledge, he's never advised any client to hold out.
  16. Stroud wanted out and Jax wanted him out. Beyond that, he wasn't looking to be, nor was he, paid at the top-end for DT's when he was traded to the Bills, and only cost the Bills a 3rd and a 5th rounder.
  17. Versus what they're saying that "Peters is only here because the Eagles are paying him $10M/year and gave up a 1st, 4th, and conditional pick in 2010?" As I said, there was NO mention of Peters wanting to stay in Buffalo. He didn't have to say it, but if he did, it would have meant something. The "I can't believe they traded me" wouldn't have sounded as arrogant had he added "...because I wanted to remain in Buffalo."
  18. I guarantee you that if teams gave their rookies this ultimatum and a close deadline, none of them would continue to holdout.
  19. He could easily have said "I wanted to stay a Bill, but I'm here now and..."
  20. Too bad it hasn't worked (getting a ring that is), once the cheating was discovered.
  21. All agents are weasels, true. But who is worse is all relative. The Postons were previously the worst. And while Rosenhaus did whatever he could to get his clients more money, he never told them to holdout like Parker has. And as a result (BTW, where are the Postons these days?), Parker is the most hated agent right now. And it will probably get worse with this Crabtree thing.
  22. If by "recover" you mean practice for 2 hours, look bad, and then go back to rehabbing, then yes, he "recovered."
