  1. I had no problem with it. It showed me he really wanted to win the game. I hope it was everything he.thought it would be.
  2. "Better is the enemy of good." WTF?
  3. Maybe if he'd saved the trick/good plays for when it counted, he wouldn't have made a first game playoff exit the past 2 years, after missing the playoffs the 3 previous years.
  4. Saturday? Nothing. Sunday however gave us a glimpse of what this unit could become, with some more training camp time and pre-season games. To dismiss it after 1 preseason game is foolish. But that seems to be the theme around here.
  5. Who are Everette Brown, Connor Barwin, Phil Loadholt and William Beatty?
  6. In other news, I wonder how the other formerly-suspended former-Bill Anthony Hargrove is doing?
  7. I'm surprised they got fooled by the fake punt. No wait a minute, I'm not. Congrats to Jeff Fisher for winning the first pre-season game of the 2009 season!
  8. Thank you. It was clear from the Titans' first offensive series and especially the fake punt that this game was REALLY important for Fisher, for some reason. I hope he got what he was looking for out of it.
  9. Just like the LT situation last year.
  10. So he never demanded a new stadium from the taxpayers, doesn't gouge the fans, didn't name the stadium after himself, could have moved the team several times but didn't, spends money on players, spent money on a GM (TD, which didn't workout), but needs to spend more on coaches, even though that doesn't guaranteed success, as Snyder and Jones have proven. So, why the hatred for the man?
  11. If you mean "didn't play" as in his performance, then yes, he "didn't play" last night. But he started and was on the field. I too was disappointed with him. Move Fine and Nelson up, and even Stupar.
  12. Derrick Jones (DT) looked to merit more playing time with the non-scrubs.
  13. Strange because Schouman started at TE.
  14. If it's the same play we're thinking about, it was #80, Schouman.
  15. Not really changing the RT position, since Bell has practicing there for awhile and starting the past week. And he's really the immediate future there. Butler would be best-served IMHO at LG.
  16. Levitre got beaten badly on that play. But a throw by Trent just a split second earlier would have made it moot.
  17. Butler, not Chambers. Again only if Levitre doesn't show improvement by the 2nd game.
  18. The bad field position (on a horrible block in the back call on Fine) was mostly to blame for the 2nd series (the last series with the starters).
  19. Dungy likes Vick, but doesn't like TO. WTF, Tony?
  20. Yep, give Levitre another game at least before replacing him with Butler. Keep the rest of the line the way it is.
  21. With Moreno's numbers known, there is no reason not to forget Crabtree and workout a deal with Maybin. Waiting can only make things worse, not better.
  22. The Bills aren't waiting on Crabtree. Whoever wrote that report is a moron. Why would the Bills wait on a guy who is demanding top-3 money, when it will only drive-up the price of their draft pick, as well as delay getting him into camp? Can anyone be a "sportswriter" these days?
  23. Perspective changes as your life changes. When you're young, you think that anyone over 30 is old (although my 8-1/2 year old made me proud when he said 50 was young, and I'm over a decade away from reaching it). When you're healthy, you thank god/your lucky stars you're not sick. But when you get old and/or sick, you thank god/your lucky stars for what life you do have.
