  1. And 10X the desire/motivation.
  2. They will? Then what's been the problem?
  3. Kind of like...food. Which as I've been saying, SHOULD be the most basic right of every person in the world. Yet no one is giving it out for free (well, except for the soup kitchens, which are the equivalent of ER's and free clinics in medicine). My coverage sucks as well. I pay about $24K a year and still have to pay a $15 co-pay for meds, and I barely use any other services (I take good care of myself and see a doctor every few years). Usually I'll just go with older/generic meds and pay out of pocket. I've been bugging my damn workplace for an HSA/HDHP account, and will finally be able to get one next year. They are the way to go, but the Dems want to kill them off as well, for some reason. Then again, maybe I should just ditch the insurance, save $24K a year, and when an illness or injury comes along, cry that I don't have coverage and demand for the government to bail me out?
  4. We need to hear some numbers, john. Or at the very least that the Bills are offering him a fair contract, which would be 5-years, ~$25M and ~$15M guaranteed.
  5. Yes, clearly your ass. The Bills haven't had problems anywhere near this bad signing, oh, every OTHER draft pick since the advent of free agency. They know what Moreno, the guy picked after him, got and they know what Raji, the guy picked 2 spots before him, got. Maybin's camp is the only one talking about how Crabtree is holding things up. It's not a hard concept to grasp.
  6. If the Bills are offering more money than Moreno got, they're "offering 11th pick money." Maybin and his agent are clearly angling for what Crabtree is looking for, and it's not even debatable at this point, since Arrington has come out and said that Crabtree is holding things up (...on their end). The Bills have no reason to want to see what Crabtree signs for, both because of the (lost) time it will take for that to happen plus the (out of proportion/slot) money he'll get.
  7. The Patriots are the only divisional team that scares me. The clock on Miami's Cinderella story is going to strike midnight, if it hasn't already.
  8. Daunte Culpepper threw for 39 TD's versus 11 INT's in 2004, his last full year with Moss. And obviously Cassel looked good enough throwing to him, his first-time starting since HS. So...
  9. I can see the geniuses in Washington going gaga over a rookie who had one solo (after a McGahee 5 yard gain) and one assisted tackle (on a Joe Flacco scramble), and a QH hurry (on 2nd string QB Troy Smith), as being the stuff of legends. I mean, look at what they shell-out at games every weekend.
  10. Saying it was a situation only pertaining to draft picks is something they could do. But I could see this backfiring WRT FA's and the Bills' own players they want to re-sign. I now think giving Maybin a deadline/ultimatum is the best way to go and then if he balks (which would be monumentally stupid on his part), reveal the offer.
  11. I agree.
  12. Outside of his yards, his numbers were unimpressive. And the yards apparently were mostly YAC yards.
  13. Pioli starts-off on a great note.
  14. Tell him he has a 24-hour deadline to sign the offer or else he'll have to sit-out the year and re-enter the draft next year. Enough is enough.
  15. J can heal the sick. Maybe that's the answer: prayer!
  16. "Moral standard?" Where is my FREE FOOD?! I think our "moral standard" should be to feed every hungry person in the U.S., before we start handing-out free health care to those who don't deserve it, because they don't take care of themselves.
  17. Jewelers are a rip off? In other startling news, water is wet.
  18. He didn't get screwed by the Bills. And he hasn't done much in his NFL career to date. It's more likely he played hard while his opponents didn't in the pre-season game than he suddenly became a dominating player. But we'll have to see about that one.
  19. Yeah, against future fast food workers of America. But again, at least they were on the field and Maybin...
  20. And what rhymes with "apparatus?"
  21. That doesn't mean that amino acid formation isn't an inevitable occurrence when the "perfect storm" of conditions exists. Merely finding glycine on a comet doesn't prove that life existed/exists elsewhere. Or that life only started because asteroids seeded the earth with biological material. I mean, how many asteroids would have needed to hit the earth's oceans, and in close proximity, to form the first organism? And how did those compounds form, wherever they came from, if they came from a life-producing planet? Furthermore, many biological compounds need to be synthesized; they don't just appear out of thin air.
  22. I thought I had it with the Tool song.
  23. Fine is 6'3" 247# while Schouman is 6'2" and 223#. Fine at least has decent size.
  24. Basing an opinion on half a pre-season game is far better than basing an opinion on (biased?) reports coming out of training camp. Which was the point, I believe.
