  1. They are two very different movies IMO , the one with Keitel is much darker style while the one with Cage that takes place in post-Katrina New-Orleans, while still twisted has a funny side to it with the play of Cage. Cage can be either really good or really bad sometimes, but he's really good in that movie, not a classic but worth seeing...
  2. I'm guessing the one with Harvey Keitel, I'll admit this one was pretty f...ked up!, not the latest one with Nicolas Cage, that was pretty good actually.
  3. The good thing at the end is that the boy won't be alone, but you know there is no hope afterwards.... Forgot about this one, that was good, I liked what Metallica did with the video for the song One featuring scenes from the movie.
  4. Was checking out movies to watch online yesterday and I stumbled onto this one: The Road, since Viggo Mortensen was in that movie and I really liked what he did in Eastern Promises directed by Cronenberg, I figured I'd give hit a shot without really knowing what it was... I can't even tell you if with was really good or bad since it left me with such a depressing feeling, what a depressing movie! And I guess the fact that my only child is a boy a bit younger than the boy in the movie got me going pretty good , anyway you have to see it for yourselves to know what I mean... What's your most depressing movie ever and if you've seen The Road, I'd like to know what you think.. ***Football games don't count as most depressing movie, I know many of you would be tempted to list Friday's game vs the Skins or last year Browns game or any Super Bowl lost.......
  5. Did not check Dean's post properly that started with Andy, wasnt expected, sorry about that Jim...As for myself as started early this afternoon drinking Moosehead beer today, not bad, but I'll have to put on the brakes pretty soon since I'm starting work early tomorrow...Cheers!
  6. I think that was intended for me, even if you had The Dean's post in your reply...Andy? Clarify? Jim buddy, what time did you start drinking today? You post a link with Andy of Mayberry that goes to a video of the Andy Griffith show and your asking me to clarify Andy?... As for The Dean thanks for the links, found what I was looking for, I would send you a beverage of your choice with a nice cigar if I could...
  7. Even Andy is not available for me to watch!! Damn the CRTC with their Canadian content regulations...Every year we have to find a bar with an illegal US feed to watch the Super Bowl with the US commercials...
  8. I never understood why people would stand so close to the action when you know disaster can happen any second...It's like those rallye races they have in Europe when they go full speed on small roads with all those people (even children) bunched up right on the side of the road, crazy...
  9. Thanks for all the info guys! Checked out Netflix, looks good but it will be available in Canada only this fall so pretty soon, I will probably go for it, same with HULU not available in Canada... I was looking to check out some Soprano's episodes I havent seen and also to check some recent movies as well...
  10. I tried a few sites but nothing's working, i'm an old fart so not an expert internet wise, any info will be welcomed, thanks
  11. I'll admit it didnt look good yesterday, but what worries me more is the injuries, as Gailey said after the game by losing Jackson and Lynch early a lot of the game plan went down the drain, with 3 starters out on an O-line that's already green in game experience, they we're planning to do a lot of two-tailback sets. Hopefully injuries arent too serious, we need to keep our starters healthy to have some kind of consistency going with our first unit, but it's not looking good right now injury wise...
  12. Since the start of the offseason Chan has been conservative in his statements when he talks about players, saying stuff like: he's coming along, he's showing promise, still a lot of work to be done...So the way he talks about Jackson really tells you how hard he's really been working and how good he has looked so far to draw praises from Chan like this
  13. One thing that stands out to me since the start of the offseason is not really a quote, it's when Chan decided to remove all the big screen TV's from the training room, I think it sent a message loud and clear, club Med is over, we mean business from now on...
  14. I don't know who's Micheal Lombardi, but listing the Miami Dolphins as Super Bowl contenders he should have is head examined...
  15. Just bought the Rotowire 2010 fantasy football magazine(needed something to chew on footballwise), here's their projections for Bills players: Trent Edwards 243 comp. 399 att. 2762 yds 13 tds 14 ints Ryan Fitzpatrick 65 comp. 112 att. 691 yds 5 tds 6 ints Fred Jackson 166 rush 752 yds 4.5 avg 4 tds / 26 rec 201 yds 0 tds C.J. Spiller 157 rush 715 yds 4.6 avg 3 tds / 52 rec 402 yds 1 tds M. Lynch 109 rush 451 yds 4.1 avg 3 tds / 14 rec 102 yds 0 tds Lee Evans 71 rec 1005 yds 14.2 avg 6 tds James Hardy 42 rec 511 yds 12.2 avg 4 tds Roscoe Parrish 25 rec 277 yds 11.1 avg 0 tds Shawn Nelson 19 rec 167 yds 8.8 avg 1 tds Rian Lindell 25/29 fgm 26/26 xpm 1 for 50+ 101 pts Paul Posluszny 112 tack 1 sack 1 int Andra Davis 92 tack 1 sack 0 int Bryan Scott 75 tack 2 sack 1 int George Wilson 62 tack 1.5 sack 3 int Jairus Byrd 60 tack 1 sack 6 int 1 td Aaron Maybin 45 tack 4 sack 1 int Bills defensive rank: 23rd Few observations: -All this can change since we still don't know the starters 100%, especially QB although the stats can still look the same whoever is starting. - I expect a better season from Nelson - With the projected stats for Scott,Wilson and Byrd they don't expect Whitner to get that much playing time
  16. That's surprising, it was mentionned many many times this offseason that one of the best thing about Gailey is coming up with offensive schemes best suited to the strenght of the players on the roster, but then again it's a former diving coach....
  17. Not really, I was lucky my brother was working for Labatt's Brewery at the time, so we had access to the Labatt luxury box, we we're waiting for all the craziness to stop before leaving the Stadium, what a mess though, the Expos merchandise store all smashed up and goods stolen, cop cars flipped over, fires all over the place, crazy... Also one funny thing is we had beer in the luxury box, but there was no alcohol sold in the stands for that concert, imagine if they did!!!
  18. Metallica and Guns and Roses at Olympic Stadium in Montreal 1992, can't blame Metallica, they we're sounding great and the crowd was really getting into it when Hetfield burned his arms, then after waiting almost 2 hours Guns and Roses shows up and that Axl Rose idiot decides to leave after 5-6 songs, then the riot started...Kudos to Metallica for coming back the year after and doing 2 concerts at the Montreal Forum at $10 a ticket... Also Metal Church at the Verdun Auditorium around 86-87, just terrible terrible sound, very painful...
  19. Now: Byrd Jackson Williams Evans Moorman End of Year: Spiller Evans McKelvin Byrd Nelson Wish List for breakout/good 2010 season: Parrish Maybin Hardy Bell Troupe
  20. Just checked out the link, wow, some seriously nice looking bottoms, hard to pick just one!!!
  21. 100% agree, plus right away when he sees that Chavous gave an A, he says: "Maybe I didnt watch enough tapes" , you can see that he knows Chavous has much more in-depth knowledge than he does
  22. Great thread, very informative!! Thanks for the info.
  23. Seattle has 2 first round pick, 6 and 14, they could trade 6 to Philly
