  1. For the love of all things holy TRADE DOWN Doug...

How he left us with 6 picks in this Draft is beyond my comprehension...He better fix that...

Scouting this class and knowing we're short on picks, cap money, and overall talent is making me very, very, sad... B-)

    This and more this-

Neutral football buddies are asking me how the Bills can have a poor record, low cap space, and only 6 picks? Not the trifecta we are looking for, so trading down even just to pick up a 4th and 6th would be welcome

  2. Not sure about Rex being defensible, but here are four reasons why I don't want to see a coaching change.

    1) From an outside point of view (not crazy fans over analyzing everything) any team that burns through six coaches since 2008 is a hot mess. With obvious organizational issues, no sane coach would want to go into a meat grinder like that. Let the Pegula's establish some stability and "street cred" around the league. While the Bills are a huge disappointment, they have been a 500 team for the last three years, and sadly enough that is improvement from the previous 10 plus debacles.

    2) It was silly to bring in a 3-4 coach to come in and coach a team whose strength was a 4-3 defense with no QB. We didn't have the players to run the 3-4. We have "some" now, so it's hard to tell if it's the players, the coach, or both at fault for the poor D.

    3) Rex is not a great head coach- (see timeouts, schemes, gameplans, penalties etc) and only a great head coach can overcome the massive injuries we've had. Not an excuse, but it is a reason. Let this play out with a full hand.

    4) No franchise QB. What are the Bills supposed to do with a guy like Tyrod?? Air it out? Ground and Pound is a must for now

  3. Living in AZ, I spent the afternoon watching the Rams/Cards game. Here are some observations on the Rams:

    1) Offensively they are unimaginative. They will slam Gurley against 8-9 man fronts 20 times, regardless of the results. They will throw a couple bombs to Tavon Austin. Most effective weapon last week was screen pass, and Keenum had a couple sneaky escape plays that were called back.

    2) Defense is a handful- their Dline is huge and relentless, and the secondary can make some plays

    3) They really are borderline dirty still- a few hits on Palmer were....close to being cheap. We better keep Richie under control so he doesn't have another 3 penalty game

    4) They like ugly football games- talent wise it's a close match up

  4.

Yeah he could show up week 10 and then in practice say he has Plantar Fascilitis which is very hard to diagnose without honest patient and hit it will not get better thru agent or anonymous source until he has long term contract. All legal but as unethical as Billicheat.

    AKA the Byrd Flu?

  5.

It seems like so many Bills' fans 1st reaction to a player who becomes good is "trade him".

Personally I want no part of trading him- love the dual threat action, his 8-6 record in the first year, his deep ball and his quick grasp of the offense. Just throwing out ideas for discussion

In all seriousness, seeing the money that's getting thrown around right now makes me admire teams like Baltimore, GB, etc. that don't spend wildly in the early throes of FA.

Totally agree- just saw a chart of the top 10 teams that spent the most money in FA the last 10 years- and it's not a good group. (Hint- the Dolphins lead it and the Browns are on the list)
