Here is my perspective and I think I am part of a silent minority (of white dudes)
-Black lives do matter
-Watching Floyd be killed by the police was horrible, and eye opening to the fact that there is injustice and rightful condemnation
-Protests came and I sympathized
Then things got weird
-Statues torn down??
-Can't debate or disagree??
-Looting?? Blocking highways and part of Seattle??
-People fired for posts not completely in line with current thought??
Would prefer a better compromise for people getting their thoughts in and having preaching jammed in my face. I'll still watch football, but I'm not liking the one sided reports on social media and the news

Hard Pass on him
1) He has a poor injury history
2) I like our backfield tandem
3) The $$. Don't want to tie up too much cap room in a running back- we have got some ducats to shell out soon for some of our own players

No one can do that job that would satisfy fans. It’s impossible
Exactly- all this focus on the the refs is a waste of time.
Just about half of everyone will be pissed on every call, and half will be happy

For Pete's sake relax.
1) He got pulled over for dwi while at age 22. Could have happened to almost anyone, except maybe some judgmental choir boys
2) It's Texas, not crappy New York. Gun laws are easier, and it's common for regular people to have them on them. Also, up to a few years ago open container beers were actually allowed while driving!
3) He didn't hurt anyone, punch a woman, jump out of a hotel room screaming naked etc.
Just...relax

The whole video editing of draft picks was a joke. You could see by looking at the TV screens in the background the timings were all over the place.
I heard they had 180+ live cameras they were juggling. Draft was pulled off great- sure some more Bills coverage would have been cool but overall awesome

I Don't want anything to with that contract PLUS having to trade a premium pick

I wouldn't take everything he says as Gospel
But he's forgot more about football than most here have ever known so his opinion is still definitely respected
This- you may not agree with his opinions, but no need to criticize the guy.
Brandt has more information, contacts, perspective and history than most anyone

He's just too hostile as a tv commentator. I understand he was a small guy who played well with a chip on his shoulder, but this hasn't translated well to tv

Awful idea to:
Give up any more premium picks
Trade for 32 year old player
Trade for players who have agents asking publicly for trades
Trade for players who are asking for 15-20 million per year

Hopkins going to AZ and them NOT giving up their first to Houston basically takes a WR being taken in that slot completely out of the mix. And they have been pretty consistently mocked to take Lamb.
Now, Indy trading their pick to SF also takes Indy out of the running for a WR, which they were also somewhat mocked to maybe take a WR.
Its not out the question, SF could take a WR, but they also dont need to given depth at WR this draft and a nice young WR in place to go with an Elite TE. Part of me wonders if this is part of a move to go up and get a QB.
So one slot and possibly two draft slots ahead of us are no longer going to be spots for a WR. Odds that at least one of Juedy, Lamb, Ruggs to last to 16 or later has now just gone up IMO and maybe even one will last to us at 22. At the very least, I think it makes that one getting to Atlanta at 16 much more probable now and I think that Beane will be interested in going to get one at that point.
EDIT: As some have pointed out, 13 might be an intriguing place for us to move up to with SF as well to get Juedy/Lamb.
Interesting but I am firmly against trading up, particularly for a WR in a very deep draft

Absolutely. A top flight back to pair with Singletary is the single best thing we could do for the offense- less throwing is better for Bills at this point
Gordon has average numbers and will be too expensive

I would be very surprised if the Bills signed any very expensive, top 10 at their position contracts. They seem to be smarter than this. Draft well, and fill holes with targeted free agents with reasonable contracts.

What in the world is this thread about? I have been coming to this board for many years to catch up on Bills news. I live thousands of miles away and it consolidates articles, news and some opinions. I like the updates on training camp and hearing from folks who went to the game. This site has some whackos who create nonsense, but I ignore them. If you are getting moderated or censored, look in the mirror.

I wouldn't pay that much for him for a 1 year rental.
He does't seem to fit into our culture- fighting with coaches, driving the bus over every qb in the nfl and pulling into camp in a brinks truck
Also he is going to want a FORTUNE come contract time, and I'd rather see the $$ go to Tre D

Is he healthy? Why did he get cut? Can't all be roses if a capable player is dropped right before camp
They saved like 4 million on the cap- they likely need it for a new deal with their LT

No thanks- he wants too much for an RB- we just got out of cap hell

Sills signing is great! Would have been h appy to get him in the 5th-- but as a UDFA... Awesome!

I'm thinking the Bills are done trading up. Seems generally only a good idea to do so for a QB. They have stated they want to build through the draft and we have very few home grown drafted players on the roster. I have nightmares still about the Sammy Watkins deal- let's stand pat or move down

She's as qualified as any analytics dude to talk football. She definitely has some predictions correct. She also happens to be fantastic looking which helps the mostly male audience at NFLN. I like here and I like Warren Sharpe- they bring some new information to the table, unlike some of those dopey ex players they trot out there.

I hope the league survives but my interest level is...meh...
Tried to watch the local Arizona team on TV, but it becomes more of a go back channel thing than an interesting watch
Team plays 15 minutes down the road, but I haven't even considered going and don't know anyone who has. I wonder what their attendance figures are?
-
It's unlikely we trade up again this year- we need every pick we can get and this GM has said he is building through the draft. It's a deep draft at a few spots- no way we should trade out of the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
-
I'll tell you what- it would be awful to have a job where you had to go on twitter and social media and actually interact with random sports fans. The stuff people say to strangers online is unreal. And some of you actually take the time to email reporters?? For what purpose?
What I got out of this article is that Rodak deliberately goads Bills fans because of their comments. He should find a new job- just report the news as a beat writer, don't be the news
-
Frank Gore is an NFL Icon, respected by players and coaches. He's the kind of guy you'd want in the locker room. Yep he's old and we need to acquire some fresh legs, but it's a low risk, low money signing
Goodbye Buffalo Bills and the NFL
