  1. Honestly? None. This team has tremendous shortcomings on the offensive line and quality WR depth. Any quality 3-4 front seven guys, particularly DE's would be nice too. I'm still in amazement over the Lee Evans trade, but I don't want to drift to far from the original post. I'm hoping one of the cap strapped NFL franchises were forced to cut a quality player that will help improve the Bills depth. Such as Andre Gurode or Igor Olshansky from the Cowboys.
  2. What is your deal? You come on here post absolute garbage and then argue with 3-5 members at once. Classic. Yeah, it's not you, it's me. Back to your initial post; Luck is a stud, we get it. The whole country is on his Stanford schlong.
  3. Makes no sense. Who gives a crap if he looked bad in preseaon? Tom Brady looked pedestrian in the preseason, should he be cut? What has Levi Brown ever done to deserve someone's loyalty? The fact he "blew his doors off" in mop up time in some meaningless preseason games against 3rd teamers carries little weight. I'm completely fine with Thigpen as my backup. He knows the system, is athletic and has experience.
  4. Nice! Does anybody up there actually recognize a Bills jersey or know who Fred Jackson is?
  5. So what you're saying is he's another Donte Whitner? No thanks.
  6. What are you talking about? Highly drafted rookie defensive players do make an impact in the NFL with regularity. Defense is traditionally an easier transition from college than offense. Buffalo has no more of a history signing injured players than any other NFL team. I'm not sure where you get your information.
  7. You do realize Chan was his OC in Kansas City, right? In 2008 Thigpen had a pretty good year running the spread offense in the NFL under Gailey's direction. The prior relationship carries some weight in NFL circles.
  8. You're confusing Fitzy with Trent I think. Fitzpatrick chucks deep balls every game; they just hit the turf more often than not. On the speed post, you're making my point for me. Pure speed in the NFL at WR is at a surplus. There is an art form involved and Lee Evans has the ability to get deep consistently. None of those clowns on Oakland or any other burnt out track star including Usain Bolt can accomplish that. Back to the original topic of Luck coming to the Bills, I think Matt Barkley is the more logical pick. I'm not implying Barkley is equal or better than Luck, but the Bills will pick top 10 guaranteed, but not 1st overall.
  9. +1 I'm glad someone actually understands this concept. He would be a square perg in a round hole in a 3-4 D.
  10. Did you just compare Stevie Johnson with Calvin and Andre? If so, that's quite a "homer" statement. The comparison ends with the last name... I realize you're trying to establish the fact Detroit & Houston don't have premier #2 receivers either, but mentioning the Bills current lot of secondary receivers burning one on one coverage doesn't scare anybody. Lee Evans took the top of defenses. You can't replace pure straight line speed or the threat of the deep ball that easily.
  11. 3-3 going into the bye week is as optimistic as I can be. A swiss cheese, makeshift O-line is not going to propel this team to a 4-0 start. KC on the road, NE, Philly and the NY football Giants in the first 6 games is a brutal start. The Raiders tend to beat the Bills in the regular season, The Bills tend to beat the Bengals in the regular season. It's a wash. 1-3 start, 1-5 going into the bye.
  12. +1.... This team is 6-10 at best. 8-8 would require a Tom Brady long term injury, The NY Jets team plane crashes killing the entire starting defense and CJ Spiller morphs into the 2nd coming of Barry Sanders by 9/11/11. I say 5-11.
  13. Love that commercial! When "Lights Out" was on the juice, he a human wrecking ball. Hopefully his joints and ligaments aren't permanently dry rotted from the abuse they took.
  14. You run right f&%@ing by him.... This garbage might work in a video game, but the speed and agility of these NFL skill players is off the charts. You think that fat 385lb slug could tackle a quality NFL running back one on one? He would look foolish. As far as I can remember, the only time this ever worked with a 290lb plus athlete playing MLB/ILB was Levon Kirkland. He was a physical specimen with tremendous footwork. Jasper's sloppy as Martin Lawrence in Big Momma's House.
  15. I've never heard one expert or true NFL fan say Drew Brees "sucked" at any point in his career. They challenged his height & his arm strength at the NFL level, but nobody ever claimed he sucked.
  16. Because it's one fleecing or bad decision after another! The Bills are 15-20 million under the cap and they trade away one of the games' best deep threats for a pick that will turn into a freakin safety or cornerback that gets cut in 2 years. We should have "spilled milk" as the logo on our helmets, the Bills are that embarrassing of an organ-I-zation.
  17. This is purely poor taste. Those NFL Europe looking CFL inspired navy blocks were awful! The worst white jersey in NFL history...navy and royal with red and white? Way too busy unless you can't differentiate colors. You're completely in the minority on this one.
  18. Stabler, Brown and Carter are worthy arguments. Plunkett, Cortez Kennedy & Ricky "running" Watters will never sniff the hall without paying admission. Sharpe is one of the best TE's to ever lace them up...period.
  19. Not at 6'3" 245 pounds there wasn't... He's a freakish athlete playing QB with linebacker size, speed, strength and toughness. So his throwing motion isn't polished, it's too slow and he sails some passes. He's a bulldozer and had 6 rushing TD's in limited duty last year. I think he could be a more athletic version of David Garrard at his best. People who can see further than the front of their nose can see the potential in this guy. He'll never be Peyton Manning or any other "true" pocket passer, but who the hell cares? If he wins and the team is successful, stats are irrelevant. Sounds awful familiar to Buffalo's previous love affair with Doug Flutie, does it not?
  20. Is he a right tacke? No. Is he a 3-4 outside rush linebacker? No. Any trade for Osi would be a square peg in a round hole as far as the Bills are concerned.
  21. Are you a Trent apologist? Maybe you and him can share male vagina stories? Trent is awful...period.
  22. How is a guy getting called for a completely scripted TD celebration home cooking?
  23. TROLL... Who was crying for Jason Campbell? Maybe you were on another board.
  24. Without hesitation, pull the trigger. Trading a 3rd string running back for a starter on your revamped 3-4 defense would be ideal.
  25. Doesn't matter. The Green Bay passing attack is light years ahead of Miami's. Marshall was their only weapon. Jennings, Driver, Jones, Lee and Finley represent the best receiving skill set the NFL has to offer. Aaron Rodgers throws for 300 and 3 TD's minimum...
