Pickett plays the run stuffer role in the 4-3 defense. The Bills have Marcus Stroud in that role already. The Packers don't need him in their new 3-4 defense, Raji will play nose tackle and Pickett doesn't have the speed or athleticism to play DE in a 3-4 scheme. The Bills are in need of the penetrator type of DT (think Tommie Harris of the Bears) Triplett was that type of undersized speed DT, but he was already washed up when the Bills signed him. They hoped McCargo would be that guy as well, but it's not panning out.

The bust from Wisconsin? I thought his knees or back were shot? Maybe he just had Mike Williams lazy syndrome.....either way, I don't think McCargo or Bryant make the '09 Bills roster.

The Bills defense is an OLB and free safety away from being top 10 again. I don't think a pass rushing OLB is required, just play solid pass coverage in your drops and make the run stuffing tackles on your side of the field consistently. Byrd is what the Bills have been waiting for at free safety....a ball-hawking center fielder. Ko Simpson was that in college, but hasn't panned out in the NFL as of yet. I don't think he ever will either.

Priceless! I hope for the sake of every Bills fan worldwide that this is true. Bros before ho's Tom! Maybe Randy Moss can hook up with RuPaul or Tyra Banks and end the whole thing.....
