  1. Dirty Burn represent!!!

Also born and raised in the "Dirty Burn" that is Auburn, NY. I'm 33 years old, and went to my first Bills game versus the Saints on a cold, snowy day in December of 1989 (we lost). I was a fan when we were terrible in the early-mid 80's, persisted through the super bowl years, and will continue to be a devout and diehard fan until the day I croak.

I have a 3 year old son who will also be a Bills fan.....whether he likes it or not

  2. Bills blow, 0-16, 21 out 22 starts on IR by week 7, but they will all be healthy enough to cash there paychecks.

I don't even understand why you would post on this message board. Are you a Jets, Pats, or Dolphins fan trolling on here? Why waste your time and energy? If you are a Bills "fan," then why don't you just find another team to follow? Clearly it would be in your best interest.

BTW...your grammar sucks....are you a 3rd grader or something? It's THEIR paychecks, not there paychecks. An example of using the word there would be something like....There are other NFL teams to follow if you have clearly given up on your favorite team

  3. My vote would be for Geno Smith.

Big (6'3" 214), athletic QB who runs the spread offense at WVU. Last year he had a completion percentage of 65.8%. He threw for 4,385 yards, 31 TD's, and only 7 INT's. He shows excellent pocket presence, has an absolute cannon for an arm, and has pretty nice touch on his throws. At the present, he is not as polished as a guy who he has been compared to, RG-III. Although he still has another year to work on his game. He'll likely be a top 10 pick.

BTW...I don't think this is a taboo subject. The Bills DEFINITELY have to draft and develop yound talent at the QB position. I'm not one of those tards who are screaming "Fitz sucks!" after one week of football, but I am keeping very close tabs on all potential NFL QB prospects this season.

  4. It seems like the organization is in a hurry to rush Graham into the lineup.

I do think he can add that speed to stretch the field, but I thought that Naaman was the best receiver last year working in the slot.

Am I the only one that saw how fearless he was across the middle? He took some wicked shots and never coughed up the ball. I know that Jones has his fans on this site, but I think he has proven to be a bit more fragile than Roosevelt and the coaching staff will not be doing him any favors with Fitz hanging him out across the middle.

Graham was our third round pick, and by all accounts, looked good in the pre-season. Naturally, he is going to get a chance to prove himself before he is passed over by someone who was cut from the team. I think Graham is going to really open some eyes, particularly because he is sort of unknown by other teams right now.

I too was surprised that Roosevelt was cut, and I was really surprised that Ruvell Martin was added to the roster (when Brooks went on IR) rather than him. I do think Roosevelt can play in this league, but I think Graham has much higher upside and needs game experience. You'll be happy the first time Graham takes a WR screen or a 5 yard slant to the house. He possesses that type of game changing, play-making ability.

  5. I dont usually get my hopes up for the Bills winning a lot of games. This year I thought we might have a chance to be better, but come out and play like we did last week, This is the first time I feel slightly embarrassed to call myself a bills fan so im bringing myself a bag just in case they start to make a habit of playing like crap.

Might be time to hand in your "fan card" bro....might be easier, and less embarrassing, for you to convert to a Packers fan or something.

  6. C and D throw in some rookie jitters and this is what you get. I saw Gilmore look back more than once as if to say where were you Jairus?

I'm not going to make excuses for Gilmore, but Byrd played a terrible game yesterday. He looked lost out there, and it semed that he lined up out of position constantly. I don't know if you can attribute that to coaching or player error. The Bills seemed to play a great deal of zone coverage yesterday, and execution was piss poor. I would like to see a lot more man-to-man, press coverage. We didn't draft these big, physical corners for nothing.

  7. My...err...recommendation (!) is that somebody just tells Kevin how to cook venison before the syntax becomes too puzzling.

Marinate in teriyaki/soy mixture with fresh minced ginger and brown sugar. Smack it up, flip it, rub it down!! Slap that speed-beef on the grill!!

  8. I have Fred Jackson in both of my leagues...got him in round 4 in each draft which I think is tremendous value for a solid #2 RB. I also picked Bills D/ST in both of my leagues. In both cases they were my 2nd D/ST taken, as I like to carry 2 on my rosters and pick the best match-up each week. The only other AFC East player I picked is Rob Gronkowski. Got him with my 2nd round pick. I hope he puts up 17 TD's again this season....on other teams than the Bills of course.

  9. I had seats 2 rows up right behind the Bills bench about 5 years ago, and honestly, I don't think I would ever sit there again. Yeah, it was "neat" to see the players up close and personal (a couple players even came over to the stands...talked to fans, signed autographs, etc...), but the play on the field can be obscured at times. It was particularly difficult to see what was happening during red-zone action. I would prefer to be at least 20-25 rows up, so I can really see all of the game action.

That being said...if you never had the opportunity to sit in the 1st row before (and it sounds like you haven't) go ahead and give it a shot

  10. I was shocked to hear that Carder was let go, and that Chris White made the team. Obviously, the coaches know a lot more than us fans about how players are progressing, where they fit in on the team, their potention, etc... Buddy and Chan obviously thought Chris White was more valuabel on special teams, and that Morrison was better equipt to step in at ILB in a pinch. It's a numbers game.

Only time will tell if Carder will become a starting caliber LB'er in this league. I wish him the best.
