  1. Chris McCullough is Orange.

Isaiah Whitehead (2014 4 star SG) to follow shortly. Also, Tyler Roberson (2013 4 star PF) will be making his decision this week. It's between SU and Nova right now, but it is believed that he is a 'cuse lean right now.

BTW...there is an outside chance that McCollough could reclassify to 2013. What a class that would be with McCullough, Ennis, Patterson, Obokoh, Johnson!!

  2. I think the A Williams at CB experiment is over. It's time to try the A Williams at S experiment. Many scouts thought he was well suited for the position coming out of Texas. But that may be a moot point depending on the severity of his injury.

    GO BILLS!!!

With regard to the safety position...anyone else notice that we saw a lot more of Searcy yesterday, and a lot less of George Wilson?

  3. As previous posters have stated, McCarron is a red-shirt sophomore....highly unlikely that he comes out this year. Having watched him a lot this year, I will say that he excels as a game manager. Alabama is a power running team that relies upon short pass plays (often screen plays) to move the chains. McCarron is very rarely relied upon to stretch the field with long throws. From what I've seen, he has poor accuracy on longer throws, and does not seem to have that "zip" on his throws that would be required in the NFL. Right now, IMO, he would not be a starting QB in the NFL. He would be stupid to enter the draft this year. After another season of NCAA football under his belt...well...who knows?

  4. He's at least been more bad than good. Not near the level he played at in 2011.

Well, considering he's been playing injured since training camp, and has been playing next to horrendous RG's since Urbik went down, I think he has been holding his position down pretty well. To say that Pears' play has been "awful" is a gross overstatement IMO. Cornell Green was an awful RT....put things in perspective?

  5. They move Watt around a lot. I know i saw him in the game against the Jets rush against the LT a few times at least. You can bet Wade will exploit/explore the Bills Oline to find any weakness....would be nice if wanny did the same things!! Ha

Yeah, they move him around a lot. I've also noticed him lined up at LDE on several occasions.

  6. Dwayne Bowe should be on Buddy's radar. I'd give our '13 2nd & 3rd round pick for the guy.

I was thinking the same thing, but I just feel that those draft picks are much too valuable to give up. We definitely need to draft a QB (or 2), a couple linebackers, and a safety to replace George Wilson. I wouldn't even put WR in a top 5 list of the Bills' needs right now. Bowe would be tremendous, but I just don't see it happening.

  7. I don't think Tyler Bray is coming out in 2013.

Tyler Wilson would be the 3rd QB off the Board in 2013.

After the Patriots game the Bills' schedule gets way easier. If they are just too morally rapped after getting blown out two more times. @Texans and @Patriots and they just quit on the second half of the season they may actually be able to draft Geno or Barkley based on their draft position.

If they do get a second wind and draft in the teens Tyler Wilson will likely bet there.

I would be absolutely thrilled with Tyler Wilson. Has all the tools (although his mobility is not great), but plays on a really bad team. IMO, the 2nd best passer in this class.

  8. Keep an eye on guys like Mike Glennon (NC St.), Tyler Wilson, EJ Manuel, and Aaron Murray. I really believe that there is some good depth to this QB class beyond Smith/Barkley.

The only QB in this class who I would consider "giving away the farm" for is Geno Smith. I would much prefer, however, to take a stud LB in round one (Manti Te'o), and then perhaps trade back into round 1 for a QB (or take on in round 2).

  9. If they move you won't be a fan?

It sounds like you are a fan of the crappy city of Buffalo moreso than you actually care about NFL football.

Some people are fans of the players, coaches, and the team itself.

    To each their own.

While your logic stands to reason in the short-term, those connections will dissolve over time. If the Bills were to move to LA, I might follow them for a few years, but I probably would lose interest as coaches/players left. It would then be a different team in a different city.....no thanks.

  10. It's not just about which players are drafted/acquired...a big part of how personnel moves translate to performance on the football field is how these players are utilized. Employing a good defensive scheme and putting players in positions to succeed is important. I don't think that is happening with this team right now....especially on the defensive side.

  11. Pretty much. He's been a bust.

I don't think 7th round pick and "bust" belong in the same sentence. He made the team because he was booming those kickoffs in the pre-season.....now....not so much. Would have been worth a roster spot (IMO) if he was getting 75% touchbacks.
