You're crazy.....didn't you see the video of Raji embarrassing the NCAA's top interior linemen at the senior bowl (i.e., Eric Wood, Alex Mack, and company). If he can stay out of trouble off the field then he will be an absolute terror. He would have fit in perfectly in our system. I would much rather have Raji than Maybin.

God I would love to have this guy!! Especially to mentor our young, but promising linebacker corps. I highly doubt, however, that he would opt to spend his remaining year(s) playing in snowy buffalo. Who knows though.....stranger things have happened (i.e., Terrell Owens). Git r dun russ!!!

I forsee a great deal of 2 tight end sets this year; on both running and passing downs. You can always motion Nelson out to the slot and screw with the defense.

I completely agree with the previous post. IMO we have more pressing needs than LT. I think Walker will hold his own, and I like the depth and versatility we have on our o-line. I would love to see Demetrius Bell slide right into that RT position (eventually to take over at LT), move Butler back to RG, Wood to center, and the Levitre to LG. Then we have capable and versitile backups in Hartgardner, Chambers and McKinney.
I really think it would be in our best interest to go hard after the maniac DT John Henderson. He, Stroud, and Kyle Williams would give opposing head coaches (and interior linemen) fits. Also, I wouldn't be opposed to picking up Derrick Brooks for some leadership in or LB corps.

Yeah.......It's not like this guy's talking about Maybin getting man-handled by offensive tackles, having poor work attitude/work ethic, etc... There is no substance to this article, and no evidence to say that his first impression has been "brutal," by any measure. In fact, I have heard nothing but good things about Maybin.....he is trying to be a leader, is coachable, is playing all over the field, and is still learning the defense. This is "brutal" journalism!!! SHAME ON YOU SIR!! I fart in your general direction!

Well...we certainly have seen many free agent OLB's come to visit buffalo over the past few months, and none have garnered major interest (it would seem) sans the signing of the reserve linebacker, Pat Thomas. A lot of people on here favored signing Cato June and Freddie Keiaho; neither would have been all-pro's but seemed to fit the system well. We finally get excited about some decent talent when Pisa comes to town, but that seems to be fizzling out as well! What are Jauron and Fewell thinking? Are they happy with Ellison, Pat Thomas, Alvin Bowen.......or Nic Harris?? I need some clarity. Throw me a bone.
Serenity now!

Fred Jackson, IMO, is a very solid back. He's fast, physical, hits the holes hard, and is tough as nails. He's a great asset for the Bills right now for two reasons:
1. If "Beast-Mode" doesn't mature and he evolves into the next Pacman Jones, we have a guy that can step in and be a leader in this offense.
2. If Marshawn mends his ways, and Freddy puts up some solid numbers this year.......good trade bait?

If I could select the MNF crew it would be....Artie Lange, Christopher Walken, Carrot Top, and Jared Fogle.

We'll have to wait and see I guess. I personally think that Lee Evens will blow-up this year. He has TO to light a fire under his ass, and will benefit from the opposing secondary having to actually defend the other side of the field!!!
Trent throws for 4000 yards?????

It wouldnt hurt to sign for a one year deal with conditions. It is a low risk high return possibility.
Agreed...we have two young DT's who haven't really proven anything in the NFL. Take a chance on the Mr. Wendell!!! Sign him to a 1 year (incentive laden) deal and roll the dice. Maybe he kicks McCargo in the ass a little bit!
That being said....I would love to see John Henderson lined up next to #99 this season.

If you're concerned about Fitzpatrick's ability to step in, I can understand that. But how would that be remedied with a late-round "groomable" prospect? Wouldn't you prefer someone with four year's experience this season?
I'd rather pick a kid with some potential that we can work with, and cut another QB that we already know stinks (i.e., Gibran Hamdan, Matt Baker)!! It's pessimistic to say so, but we need to look beyond this season and the unfortunately possibility that Trent isn't the guy that's gonna get us to the playoffs. I'm a BIG TE fan and i will support him, but I am also a realist.

Am I the only one out here who is terrified that, god forbid, Trent goes down with a serious injury this season? Our depth at quarterback is almost laughable. We picked up Ryan Fitzpatrick who displayed glimpses of mediocrity last year for the Bungles (I'm not impressed). Coming off the bench we have Gibran Hamdan. I know he's good buddies with Trent and that's really sweet........but I'm pretty certain that he would not be able to step up and lead this team. Finally, we have Matt Baker, "the human paperweight." Enough said.
My main point being.....why didn't we take a shot on a "groomable" QB in rounds 4-7? In lieu of selecting 3 defensive backs in the latter rounds we could have had a guy like Graham Harrell (went undrafted), Stephen McGee, Nate Davis, etc... I know we had to address a lot of needs in this draft, but I really was hoping we would take a QB somewhere along the line.
I like our early round picks.
I am really excited about the potential of out o-line.
I'm a little confused about what they were thinking in rounds 5-7.

This guy is a sasquatch!! 6'7", 315. Above average combine performance...good speed, agility, and quickness for a big fella. It could be an interesting training camp for him.

It's a bit choppy but here you go. Enjoy.

NICE!! It's a little better in real time, but I'll take it. Hope to see a lot more of that this year.

Does anyone out there have footage of McKelvin's hit on Rams WR Dane Looker. I really enjoyed that one.....even my girlfriend started laughing as he wobbled off the field.
It'd be appreciated.

May be a better option in nickel and dime packages than Drayton Florence. This guy looks like a gamer.

Not ready to anoint him as the next Ed Reed, but the kid plays physical, is a good tackler...fits right into the Pat's defensive scheme. Hasn't shown great coverage skills, however, and will have a hard time chasin' around TO this year
Could Ellis Lankster Be a Surprise Pick & Make the 53 Man Roster?

I have a feeling that Florence is going to be a cap casualty (also Josh Reed BTW); therefore, Lankster plays on special teams and helps out on punt returns occasionally. He is more multi-dimensional than Florence and Youbody IMO. Skooby is right though....we'll have to wait until camp to make those distinctions.
