While I do like a nice glass of scotch (got a bottle of Macallan 12 year in my cabinet), I really do enjoy a nice snifter of Gran-Ma.....especially with a cup of espresso after a nice meal.

This is a great idea! While we're at it....why don't we give Brian Moorman a shot at Fullback. He has flashed pretty good athletic ability at times.

Fitz bought himself a couple more starts. Our 2 wins are against teams a combined 1-5, and should be 0-6-We havent betaen anyone yet. It is on Fitz now without Freddie and CJ...If he can get 2 wins in next 4 games-which will be tough, he will probably finish the season, but I wouldnt be shocked to see him fall apart...lose then next 4, and see Tavaris Jackson in there for second half of season either.
Really? Thanks coach. So, if we lose Sunday and Fitz plays poorly, does Tavaris Jackson get the keys to the car for the 49ers game? I didn't realize Fitz's grasp on the starting QB job was so tenuous.

I guess you didn't understand what I said. I said, he has always sucked, that includes Atlanta, not just this year.
I think the term "sucks" is thrown around here too liberally. Clearly, Mike Vick has not been the best QB ever, but to say he "has always sucked" is a bit of an overstatement. Afterall, the guy did make 4 pro-bowls, led his team to the playoffs 4 times, and is the all-time NFL leading rusher for QB's. I'm not a fan of Mike Vick by any means, but come on bro!! Don't be ridiculous.

Also thought Sheppard was playing out of his mind today. Great in all aspects of the game. Aaron Williams had a nice outing as well. Great overall effort by the defense.

Just speculation at this point. Multiple media sources have reportd this rumor; citing signing of Deion Branch and Welker's reduced workload as "evidence." I think it may happen.
Is this confirmed or just speculation ? Be funny after bradys comments how everything is fine etc. But it'd certainly be in character for the Kraft tyranny. If they could afford him i could see jets making a play.

I actually am starting to feel bad for VY with all these media stories about him being broke. Hey Vince!! I have some yard work that needs doin....some leaf raking, a stump that needs to be removed, trim the hedges....etc. PM me if you're lurking on here and looking for some pocket change.

In an interview with Eric Wood he mentioned the Wolf Pack as the line knick name. Don't know if it was something they came up with, or if it came from someone else.
Might be in reference to the movie, The Hangover.

My guess would be either Bobby Wagner or Alshon Jeffery. I don't think there was a QB they liked enough to take in round 2.

I know you're looking to get through this week, but looking toward the future, I'd pick up Mikel Leshoure. He's much, much better than Kevin Smith, and will quickly be getting the bulk of the carries in Detroit. He's a pretty good receiver too if you're in a PPR league. Leshoure comes off his 2 game suspension next week

I dropped Toby Gerhart for Morris in my league. Now I have to decide if I play him, Shonn Green, or Lance Moore in my flex spot.
I did the same thing after losing Fred Jackson. I think he'll have a good week against St. Louis....Shanahan really seems to like him, and he is a great goal-line RB. He's not flashy, but the guy always falls forward.

Kickoff will be at 9am here in Fairbanks, AK!! Baileys and coffee until half time, and then crack the first Labatts Blue at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. I have a feeling this team will be playing for blood tomorrow....motivated by an emotional Marcell Dareus. I feel sorry for Matt Cassell. LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!

He managed to play in 10 games for the Rams last season before re-injuring his leg.....maybe, just maybe? I commend Buddy for kicking the tires...that's how we ended up with Chandler, Urbik, and Pears.
