  1. Cut by Colts https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/isaiah-mckenzie-released-by-indianapolis/
  2. if i am the eagles i wait until next week and sign Zappe to my active roster. leave the patriots with 1 qb rostered. payback for cheating and such
  3. What!?!? No one picked up our LB cuts? Shocking.
  4. What's your take on 2023 class?
  5. no. the morning crew (not sure who it is because i don't pay attention) were talking about beane should have some heat on him for some bad drafting. i think it was happy at first given the hype but i remember seeing him in WFU games and just being meh. i thought he might be the rare player that has more to offer in the nfl than he really showed in the smaller program of WFU. which is also a bone to pick - wfu is not exactly a place i would get a blue chip player out of - especially since they have really ***** the bed with their top blue chip nfl prospects historically.
  6. my bone to pick is that where was this criticism at the time these guys were drafted? where was the insight that it was a mistake? it's a hot take because after the fact by a few years anyone can look articulate.
  7. compare the roster to this time of the preseason to last year. it's hard to see it is better. i think our best mcbeane era roster was going into 2020. beas coming in after an all pro season, diggs finding his pace, davis rookie year, mckenzie a gadget player, sanders involved. i'll admit for rb i was a homer for singleterry because i thin khe was undervalued for the total package he offered - especially blocking.
  8. i'd be getting billy zappe
  9. the entire OL - we are not better at. RT is no better. 1 guard is improved the other still a question mark. dawkins seems like he's not up to his best form WR - on paper we look better but i don't buy we are better than we are at this point last year with the hope that mckenzie would be as good as he was supposed to be. i don't buy harty or sherfeld are going to be better and i did forget TE - but in my defense the guy is a rookie and it's not that i forgot him it is that i don't put a ton of weight into rookies.
  10. our team did not get better at any specific position. arguably better at anything to the OL. our schedule is among the top hardest 6 or more. there are far more questions than answers and history is still behind us lurking.
  11. Wgr is hot taking it this Morning trashing Beane
  12. That was rex. Tales of them staying up late and binge drinking Saturday night, waking up hung over, etc were legendary
  13. What were the hot mic comments again?
  14. Still doesn't mean I agree. His statement was horribly wrong imo
  15. He will be back tomorrow, or at least PS'd. Expected to be 53.😉
  16. And that other kid out of louisville. They only have one quarterback on their roster. McCorkle
  17. wow. we really have been spoiled to have eric wood and mitch morse. clearly you forgot geoff hangartner, among others. center is not the easiest position in football. no position is truly easy but that you said this... is insane! like purely a lack of football knowledge. the center generally calls the blocking schemes, helps call audibles, assures proper alignment, generally knows the entire play for all positions. then do all of this while making sure the quarterback gets the ball with the laces up in a shotgun pass. jesus... your take is so bad that you should delete it.
  18. found a mac user.
  19. depends how long we keep Josh Allen upright. but the way this team is built now, complementary of itself and working as a unit in principle: the window closed last year. there is a new window right now that is open until the end of this season. we have too much volatility and age on our roster to see beyond a few years.
  20. oh trust me, i'm a realist. but i don't think this team is in rebuild mode. i think they should be. i think they should tear some things apart and try to retool to be ready in 2024, 2025 at the latest. draft OL early and often next year. find a gem WR. develop the young players we have now. trade anyone over 32 years old for whatever we can get. can McDermott (should have last year and kept dabol). get Beane some help drafting.
  21. repots show, yes. beas will be cut but likely brought back to the PS.
  22. Andy is gone this ensures that countless times this season we will have Shakir, Davis, Sherfeld, Harty, and others compared to the prophet Isabella.
  23. but not too deep that they open up lanes for rushing, or breaks in the pocket allowing for scrambling qb's to escape. but also deep enough that they close the gap between the QB and the LOS to give room for the LB's to scrape but then not too deep that the OL can simply stunt them and trap them but even then maintain an even rush and tempo to keep balance on your blocker and not let them get to the second level ...defensive line is so underrated.
  24. Because Vince Wilforks wife is busy and wouldn't play for a division foe. Short of that, I don't know many tubs of goo.
