  1. no. at least imo. in our defense the safety can play as deep as 20 yards or as little as only 8-9. We disguise our safety coverage and positions often to make it hard to distinguish the deep safety vs the many other opportunities we give the remainder (generally Poyer). If you remember earlier we have run Poyer as a linebacker at some times - especially when we used Rapp, Hyde and Poyer together. The safety position would require Elam to read the play very quickly and determine the quickest route to cut off a play or put himself in position to be a factor. He seems decent at processing the play and he is very fast but his turning ability and cutting ability is not up to snuff to free roam the backfield. A good case in point that is known to see great turn and pursuit is watching Hyde on the Perfect Game against the Patriots when he made that pick. Once he recognized the play he turned quickly to make an angle to get to the play.
  2. His family doesn't deserve this. But he does.
  3. i have a very good accounting team. my trust will be done by the end of '24. that's all i'm gonna say.
  4. what is remarkable is that he is able to write that off in expenses for his gig as a comedian. i 100% bet that he was able to offset that entire purchase.
  5. cleveland is the only team i could put faith in right now beating the Ravens mostly due to being another NFCN team with familiarity and the ability they have. The top two defens against the other.
  6. Kimmel said some things about Rodgers being a kook and empty headed stoner jock essentially. Rodgers responded insulting Kimmel being another Hollywood celeb rubbing elbows with everyone. Insinuating between the lines that it would be concerning for the Epstein list to become public for Kimmel without directly saying he was involved with kimmel.
  7. don't know where else to put it but the AFC-NFC record this season is 146-146 - a perfect 50% out of 292 games.
  8. The premise is simple. Pretend they're penny stocks. You can buy low, you can sell high, you can hold a stock with value, you can sell while it is tanking, you can buy high thinking it will go higher... BUY: Diggs. I think this weekend the Bills offense finds it's footing against a struggling defense. SELL: James Cook. I think the fins will go all out to stop the run. HOLD: Kincaid. Knox has been getting some of his targets and I almost want to buy Knox as a red zone threat in prep for the playoffs. Honorable mention buy: Davis. He has potential against Eli Apple this week. I full expect Apple to be calling him daddy and Gabe to leave with Eli's mom - like so many other men have done.
  9. I am too lazy to look but I'd bet the viewers of Rodgers last NFL game surpassed Kimmel's last new episode by 10x or more. It's amazing the influence night show comics still have on pop culture.
  10. What if you live alone?
  11. he's really gotten better at his craft in the last 3-4 years. He was too new, raw, and unsettled when in Buffalo. I've grown to actually like him even though he has a tendency to homer-ism for the team he is paid to cover.
  12. how many people will claim they were there? it's just funny to see how many people say they went to this game.
  13. people in Hollywood get a pass and get celebrated. Roman Polanski. Kevin Spacey. ...enough others I can't keep track.
  14. both of them are well past their point of relevance. Jimmy turned in his man card a dozen years ago. Rodgers took too many trips and went to the back 9 several years ago. Rodgers has more accomplished in his life than Jimmy, however. Corolla was always the talented one.
  15. They have no other choice. I look at two QB's: Hertz and Purdy. Switch the two and there is little difference. Put them on any other team and there is no improvement. The opposite is true for Lamar Jackson or Joe Burrough Both are very good but both are limited on their ceiling. Jackson isn't a 2+ read QB. Burrough is not a 17 year QB. But both enhance their team.
  16. @Just Jack can tell you. Don't do anything I say.
  17. The ravens, the lions, or the packers would be good places for his services.
  18. that or Miami given they're banged up without proven RB's. i expected the fish to sign Fournette before we did when Achan was hurt.
  19. I was just thinking about this. I wonder how he feels personally about Von Miller? The tide has definitely changed on Bills media about Miller. I wonder what the locker room thinks of him, especially Ankou who has been so forward to help women.
  20. more Bard AI. Since 1975: 21.3% of #2 seeds reach the Super Bowl Since 2000: 13.3% with 7 out of 53 teams @ #2 reaching the playoffs. since '75 42.7% advance to the conference championships since '00: 37.7% advance to the conf championship The NFC has done better at advancing the #2 seed. The #1 seed since 2000 has made it to the Super Bowl 42% of the time. 73.1% of the time they advance to the conf championship. The #2 seeds to win the super bowl: AFC: Pittsburgh Steelers (1979, 1980) Denver Broncos (1988, 1997) New England Patriots (2004, 2016) NFC: New York Giants (1987, 2008) Super Bowl appearances (losers): AFC: San Diego Chargers (1994) Indianapolis Colts (2004) New York Jets (1998) NFC: San Francisco 49ers (1990) Minnesota Vikings (1999) Seattle Seahawks (2006)
  21. Bills vs anyone is prime for peacock. Chiefs is even better, but swifties are not going to pay to see her. Bills already invested in Peacock so it's unilkely they try to do it again. Dallas for a premium sub is also a wise choice.
  22. the backfield won't matter if there is no one up front to generate pressure.
  23. i'd expect Jags/Browns to be MNF. Or titans if they somehow win. short of that eagles/bucs maybe MNF. they're not wasting the Bills (Allen), Chiefs (Swift), Cowboys (insult), or another team here. I don't expect the NFL to want to displease the Lions anymore this season - so they'll get a premier matchup time, Sunday 4pm kind of deal. Bills are a lock to get that Saturday night game regardless of seed.
