  1. what comes after z? jw
  2. why bs? i was told two months ago, the week Jauron was fired, that Marty would listen if contacted by the Bills, which is why i included his name as a candidate in several of my pieces. and kudos to Tim for his work on this. jw
  3. the poster's age or Mr. Wilson's? jw
  4. zed. jw, canadian, eh?
  5. Leslie Frazier was not having any second thoughts. (period, in case you missed the dot at the end of the sentence) jw
  6. thanks for all the feedback. my wife was even amused despite some of the posts, and you know who you are!! seriously, thanks. after a little bit of searching, we settled on a kenmore, which really sucks based on initial testing. ... and no, the Leslie Frazier or Chan Gailey models weren't in contention. jw
  7. ouch. funny. but ouch. jw
  8. Beerball/Nanker: Thanks. We've had a Kenmore, which has finally and utterly broken down, which is why we're in the market for a new one, and didn't know if the newer models were up to, ahem, "snuff." Dyson's an option, but still leaning for something less expensive. Plan to check both out. And as I once wrote in some previous post: Don't know why some ad agency doesn't come up with the tag line that "our vacuum cleaner sucks, it really sucks." or somethingj like that. jw
  9. now, now. ... Dyson is an option. My wife was wondering about a Kenmore. From what she's read, there's mixed reactions to the brand, either people love 'em or hate 'em. jw
  10. Folks: My lovely wife is in the market for a vacuum cleaner, and wondering what direction she should go. As you folks were fantastic in response to our search for a camera last year, wondering if anyone might have any tips. And hey, I'm even using caps here. Specifics she's looking for are: -- Something reasonably priced. -- Canister style (uprights are definitely out). -- And, obviously, the one that sucks the best. jw
  11. well played. well played. jw
  12. now wait. he's previously been working as a Bills scout, which means he doesn't exactly have to live in Buffalo. he has stated he intends to live in the Buffalo area, now that he's the Bills GM. now, i highly doubt he's going to make a move here during the coaching search. jw
  13. apart from the fact he neglected to mention Buffalo, the team's potential move to Toronto, Mr. Wilson, how he feels about his role as a Bills coaching candidate, Duff's wings, beef on weck, Darth and or ICE, the weather, Lake Erie, how it's impossible to drive along Milestrip between Abbott to South Park without hitting 3 red lights, snow, the economy, Byron Brown, the lack of nightlife, 10 years without playoffs, the Peace Bridge debate, Sahlen's hot dogs, the Sabres, Drury and/or Briere's departure, Chris Collins, the Goo Goo Dolls, the potholes along Elmwood, how disappointed he was when New World Record closed, Rob Ray ... you're absolutely dead on. vicious. jw
  14. i was initially fooled, too. that said, there was something very powerful to that performance. jw
  15. can't wait all day. jw t
  16. good sources. i can confirm that. jw
  17. unless, of course, they hire _______________. jw
  18. best answer I can provide is: maybe. jw
  19. ______________ definitely a he. jw
  20. but Fewell did more with far less talent than Jauron did upon taking over, and did so without the benefit of having any say in the team he inherited. jw
